I think your device don't support higher resolution, and thats the reason why you can't take Screenshots. Only way to solve this problem is that you have to set resolution and dpi back

You can revert it back with the commands /wm density reset and /wm size reset. if you change your rom you have to wipe your phone and everything will be deleted.

If I only change the resolution, everything will be smaller. To solve that you have to calculate and change your dpi and everything will be at the normal size but you have another display size (like 2160x3840)

Some devices are having problems with this changes. Samsung supports max 2k (1440x2560). I have a Sony it supports up to 4k(2160x3840). If you get problems, don't unplug USB cable and set it back with the commands shown in video

that does not actually change resolution, but window size. I.e. on my monitor, which max supports only 1650x1050 I can still put "adb shell wm size 1920x1080" and it will change window size to that (i.e. home screen etc everything becomes smaller), but physical resolution on the monitor still stays 1650x1050. Perhaps on other devices android automatically somehow change also resolution of the panel (unlikely though). I guess none knows how to actually change resolution of the screen on android (+ vertical sync frequency etc) manually?

That's right! My devices display is 3840x2160 but it was running with 1920x1080. I changed it to 3840x2160 and everything was smaller, to fix that I increased the dpi and it becomes bigger.

Hello, The battery life goes unfortunately down but in 3D games you have 4K resolution, in 2D apps or messengers Have not 4K Textures that means you have max. 2K on messengers. With the screen density you can change the scaling of Icons or Buttons (recommended)

Yes, it will work but it depends on the device. First try with 2k (1440x2560) and if it doesn't work, don't unplug the USB cable and use the commands /wm density reset (if you changed it) and /wm size reset.

480p is a low resolution, I think it will be a bit ugly. To test it go to KZbin and look a video at 480p, if it's too ugly dont use it. The other answer, if you use 720x1080 you will get black edges on the screen because your display is a 16:9 display.

Yes you can but be careful, because if you write too big dpi you can't use the phone. Some people did a wrong DPI and a button was bigger than the display.

My phone is itel, in the online spec the resolution is 720x1440 density 282 but when i bought it i saw 420x960 resolution with 230 density so the display is not really bright, i cant watch high youtube videos. I tried changing it via adb istead the display will be bigger or smaller but it will still be blurry, help please

yes, so i did the steps just like u do and when i change the screen resolution the home and back button doesnt work. i restarted it and still it doesnt work but when i reset the resolution (adb shell wm size reset) the button now works

+Trinity Agar just go back to the normal settings. If you habe higher resolution, your device needs more power and ram. I think the ram is not enough but I had no problems on my device.
