Use a filter with anti reflux valve like the bosch p7176 ( clio iv ) works for me.

Why you don’t use ELF’s Oil?

I don't think ELF exists anymore, I believe it's been replaced by a specific Castrol blend you can get from Renault.

Owners manual tells you what typ of oil you need. Doesn´t matter what BRAND you use as long as it meets the manufactuers specs.

In manual write 30000km, but in my opinion best is 10,15k km or 1year.

You should not use 5W40 in a 1.5 dci clio 4 that uses a particle filter. In this car you must use 5W30.
