Amazing tutorial i did my first oil change and it went super smoothly not a drop on my clothes or floor, the diy bucket idea is truly genius, I also replaced the air filter it's very easy too. Makesure you put the right oil, my halfords told me my car uses 5W 30!! Which is wrong!! The manual said it's 5W 20 because the ecoboost engine uses wetbelt so thinner oil is used.

@@bjaggs221 That big plastic engine cover is a big plastic engine cover. The crankcase is the bottom part of the engine block and is the thing into which the crankshaft is bolted. Firstly, it would be impossible to remove it with a "flat head screwdriver" and secondly you would only be getting anywhere near the crankcase if you were doing a major engine rebuild, not just replacing the oil filter.

Hi Connor Sutton, thanks for your comment ! It is indeed a mess with the Ford Firsta's names. Mk4 and MK5 were basically the same car with a big facelift. So it depends on the makets, they were labelled as Fiesta 4 or 5. Since then,it's a bit complicated...

Wrong you should let the engine run for a few minutes then stop it to check the oil level, not 5 seconds. Who on earth told her 5 seconds as they aint got a clue. The oil needs to circulate around the whole engine as well asgetting into the new filter😂 do not listen to this video FFS
