Thank you for all of those tutorials. I am a newbie ("old" 47 yrs old) starting his journey with Djay Pro on an Ipad Air 13 & a Pioneer DDJ FLX4.

I actually keep my start time at zero and my stop time at 1 second, but it’s mainly so I can do really cool transitions where the current song playing will slowly die and then I hit ‘em with a banger- or this really cool effect when slip mode is on tapping the pause button on and off. You can actually do real cool things with those options. I understand how it could be annoying though if that was how you stopped your songs, but for me- unless I’m doing that particular transition, I mainly use my faders to blend and cut the songs out of the mix and 90% of the time you won’t ever hear me stop the song via play button through the speakers. ***I actually keep my auto select pre cueing option off mainly for my practice with headphones so that the other deck doesn’t cut in while I’m practicing transitions. Once again great video!!! I’ve been getting a lot of great tips out of your videos through the years- when people begin their journey on djay pro I always refer your channel for tips and help. One of these days you may be on djay pro’s payroll!!!

@@justinspiegel6841 I just don't want to bother you bro, but if you can get hold of time and explain in a tutorial how to mix with Remixlive and it's setup together with Djay pro on iPad ( how the connection is made) I will appreciate Today, I have just discovered this insane app from one of your videos 🙏🏾

Really useful video. I have briefly dabbled with Djay Pro at home. The instant start drove me nuts. Must admit that I never really explored the app in any detail, as I just dismissed it because of this (really poor I know) but using others (Rekordbox, Engine Dj, Serato) I have more than enough. However, I have been using my phone and IPad more recently and finding it extremely convenient for small, intimate occasions and I understand DJP is geared towards those usages. Going straight back to reinvest in it. Thanks a whole heap.

I believe that many more users have the automatic playback function active than you might think. Depending on your style, this simply saves time because you don't have to press play, but can navigate directly through the track using the performance pads. Of course, this only works if the tracks are prepared accordingly with cue points. If you're not used to this, it may seem unusual, but after a short time you'll wonder how you were able to work without this feature. I think it's definitely worth a try! 🙂

Great advice thanks. By the way, Djay stems are not sounding good through windows at this time, waiting for the next update

hey bro firstly thanks for always giving nice info on the app ... i have used many of your videos. Anyways ... i sold all my hard gear and moved fully to this app and ive been loving it , all the new music works flawlessly on it, one problem i ran into the other day was mixing Jungle ( D&B ) , no mater how many settings i played with the sync could not keep these tracks in line with each other , i set all the cue points , edited the grid to align , changed settings to sync type beat and bpm but nothing works , i tested the tacks to start at same time and by the end of 16 bars, 1 track had completed 16 bars and the other one somehow streched then shrunk and ended on 15 bars. this is a nightmare lol. I can send a video to anyone wanting to see and might have any suggestions. ? thanks in advance. 1 more question as well , is there a feature to like nudge the track forward or back , like u was using a job wheel ? in pro mode ? im not seing it

I like that first one though, it gives me a sense of urgency to transition to the next track

What settings must I adjust to make sure desktop and mobile versions both link? I have in and out points in the desktop version that don’t appear on mobile. For context, I am logged on to my gmail account on both desktop and mobile.

I don't know why anyone would keep this setting on.... I'll happily answer that for you... EVERY DVS USER would... the vinyl is already spinning so it makes complete sense to have it on AUTO-PLAY. Thanks
