Ian i am happy for you. I still can't believe that you and Serena got divorced. When I saw your first video, I could not believe that you were transitioning. Many questions came to me. I still decided to follow you. Watching this video made me realize some things. Throughout the few years that I have been following You can't eat the grass, I did notice that sometimes you were not heard. When I watched this video I realized that you have been wanting to do so many things and how happy you are now making decisions about this or that. I do remember you did nice bouquets, so I think you are going to be fine. And as a farm, I think is never wrong to have a lot of tools. I am happy that your kids are your priority. I will follow both channels, and I wish you the best.

…“Sometimes you were not heard”… it’s an understatement lol I don’t know if you noticed but everything that was good it was because of her and everything it wasn’t Serena blamed her partner! Go back to the videos and check! I appreciate you praising Becca and supporting her!

Your positivity is refreshing and the creativity is exciting and inspiring. Happy to leave a positive comment for you and your whole family, best wishes in all your new adventures. The negativity that inevitably gets spewed about unfortunately is a result of sad, sick, and disconnected society, and a very vocal minority. It is a result of who they are, and does not reflect who you are. Stable, secure, and loving people don’t feel the need to destroy others. Your positivity and authenticity works to keep people connected instead. That’s what opening yourself up on KZbin can do. Thank you for being courageous to put that out into existence. You’re not alone. Much love ❤

I’m so glad you added the part at the end about flower arranging and creativity. I wondered how you were going to slip into that place as I always viewed you as the muscle man of the farm and not really the flower person. So I’m happy to hear you have that desire and budding passion to take this on. I feel you are extraordinarily brave coming out as you are. Your children will ultimately benefit from you being true to yourself. When I said I had always just viewed you as the muscle man of the farm I want to say how amazing it is to watch this beautiful feminine side of you emerge. And you still have those amazing muscles to get hard jobs done. I’m very happy for you and look forward to watching you and your flowers bloom! ✌️

Ian, although it is hard for me to wrap round in my head your life choice, I truly belief you have to follow what you feel is right for you. That said, I am very excited to view future vlogs. It will be hard to follow in Serina's footsteps in regards to flower arranging , as she is very creative, but you have been a good observer for so many years. You do have that advantage, along with your own creativity, and I am sure you will be cranking out beautiful bouquets this coming season. Best wishes for a successful year!

I never comment on videos, but yours incited enough of a reaction that I will. Keep up the good work and positive attitude even if it’s hard at first. What you are doing will be an inspiration to someone, with your life, with your family, with your work- in someway you will affect others positively. You don’t have to be an expert on flowers if you are passionate about what you do and sell what you love that is the best place to start. Keep up the videos I have enjoyed them so far good luck in the future on the flower farm!

Great to hear from you, I’ve been a fan from the beginning! I know you’ll succeed. A little advice - you don’t need so many types of flowers to make bouquets. Stick with a few reliable ones, zinnias, statice, rudbeckia, sunflowers, etc. Keep a calendar- when to start each variety of seeds, succession planting, fertilizing. You’re on the right track with efficiency and I look forward to watching your journey. Blooms by Betty

The only thing that matters to the children in anyone’s life is that they are loved, safe, grounded, healthy and happy. It makes no difference to them if you’re a 12’ daffodil with a bow tie or a 3” alligator with a lisp. Be who you are and, in return, they are given the permission to be who they are. 💗💕💗 Toodles!

So glad to see the building improvements and efficiencies added. And your hard work now will pay off later! Maybe if you haven’t already have you considered exploring selling more wholesale to florists? Seems like you always had an abundance of beautiful flowers that went unharvested and unused. Look at each of those stems with a dollar bill attached and make everything work for you. Maybe start relationship building with florists now. All the best. /ps personally along with pretty mixed bouquets, I would buy a nice bundle of all peonies or all tulips or some other flower as well. Can’t say I ever saw you sell a same flower bundle. Just a thought.

Becca, you have very nice dark hair, and for a video presentation, maybe run a brush through so the hair shines as much as you will. I'm not trying to "Mom" you, just am aware some strands keep going in your face. As for your business experience, it should make you much better at knowing priorities for your life, your family and the farm. The kids will adjust, probably faster than either of you expect. I had to do some adjustments myself, and I am still working on it. I spent years looking at things one way, but I did understand why I needed to adjust. You've got this!

Omg Chinese elm. I really hate them. My next door neighbours have a huge tree that pours down seeds that look like snow over my whole yard and garden. I use a leaf blower to collect them when it’s dry out but if it rains before I can get to them then they make mats. Been battling these for 40 years. Good luck to you, I like all of your efficiency ideas. I believe in you too. Best of luck this season, hope the weather cooperates.
