This is the beginning of something great. Honestly congrats on being a force for change Sun! It’s people like yourself that actually go out and take action that give us all the freedoms and privileges we come to enjoy.

Hey Sun what happened? I guess the change took place elsewhere then on this channel :) Hope to see you soon, you are missed.

Looking forward to following along. I’m an old man, and there are so many corporations and government offices that like to push old people around. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t carry a phone with a SIM card anymore. Phones and tablets are just as useful to me without cell service…

Hi. I really like your videos and I'm a new fan. The music in the video made it hard for me to hear what you were saying. Could you please lower it in future videos? Or even remove it? I feel it makes the video more serious and focused on the subject. Thank you for your continuous hard work too! Btw, you recommend Firefox. It's free. You also said that nothing is free, when it is, I'm the product. Why is it possible to trust Firefox? Also, I know this sounds rude but how can I trust you? I feel like I can't trust anyone. All companies lie, lots of people too. Who to trust? And sorry if this comment is too irrelevant for this Episode. Have a great day!

Hey, thanks for feedback about music… if others found music too loud, please drop a comment here. About Firefox… Firefox is developed by Mozilla, a non-profit that is funded significantly by… drum roll… Google. Why? Because Google is the default search engine… something one can circumvent easily. That said, I believe one can trust Firefox if configured properly. About trust… that is a conceptual problem. Can you trust me? Well… I have invested thousands of hours on this channel sharing educational content, open sourcing my knowledge and establishing trust. That said, do not trust, verify.

@@sunknudsen Yes, the music is a bit too loud. Music should really just be there to kill the pure silence, it should be very low volume

@@sunknudsen Not annoying to me but yeah most videos that show music have it just enough to know it's there. What do you think about the Brave browser?

I know the topic of open sourcing superbacked has been discussed a lot in past videos and I think we all understand people need to make a living but I still think this is the wrong approach to this problem long-term, I am excited about the future videos of your channel, I actually think vlogs are going to be a great way to share your efforts but I still think it might be a mistake to keep pushing on trying to build a business on a super simple principle who could be better maintained for future generations thru the open source community. All the love Sun, keep being you!

I'm struggling to understand what this video is about, specifically. Are you really advocating for something as ubiquitous and broad as vlogging? Maybe I missed something.
@sunknudsen Жыл бұрын
Hummm… interesting comment. I am trying something new… which means I am trying my best in unknown waters. I am actually advocating for change in the context of helping the world solve a hard problem… how can one remain sovereign while one is well and alive while transferring one’s “secrets” (mnemonics, passphrases, TOTP recovery tokens) if something tragic happens. I feel like documenting the process of triggering that change could be inspiring to others who want to impact the word around them. As a technologist, I have come to realize that change is not only technological… the human side is also mission critical. That led me to question if channel should include these layers as well. Work in progress…
@EnjoyerofYoutube Жыл бұрын
@@sunknudsen Interesting. So the subject of your vlog is basically going to be you trying to insert your solution to the hard problem into the culture? Am I understanding that right?
@sunknudsen Жыл бұрын
I believe there will be more than one layer to the channel but, yes, one of the layers will be documenting the entrepreneurial journey of building Superbacked and what it takes to change how things are done today in one area of society. To be clear, the channel is not becoming solely a marketing platform for Superbacked. I really love how entrepreneurship can trigger positive change in the world… not that I will succeed at that btw. I want to bring you guys along as I try.
