So, here's a question or two. If a coin has not gone into general circulation (like the Stephen Hawkin 50p and the Frankenstein £2). Are they still legal tender, and can a "coin" that has not been released into circulation be considered a coin? For me, if a coin is not in general circulation then it isn't available to be spent, therefore it's a token rather than a coin with a monetary value. It's all very confusing :D
