I think COTC is great and I think covering Octp. 2 makes a lot of sense! And I think many of your followers are on the same page with you! I think if you cover JRPGs it aligns with many of your followers. Also, I would consider covering Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes later into the year. Can’t wait for that one!

@@TeucentGaming if you're familiar with the ps1 jrpg classics suikoden 1&2, its their sort of spiritual successor. Game is amazing and im just waiting for any preorders. Also look out for Sea of Stars, sort of like Chrono Trigger successor too. Both are going to be released on the Switch as well.

Do what inspires you! It is very difficult to keep doing content you don't really want to. It'll only result in a burnout. As an avid D2 and D3 player (in the past), I would be looking forward to seeing some content from D4 (especially after the disaster that happened on mobile), so I'd come to watch that! OT2, I'm excited for, but won't watch any content, because I like to experience it first-hand :F Take care, and good luck with your channel! :D

I really like your contents so I will continue to be a subscriber. I am also planning to play Octopath 2 and Dioblo IV so looking forward for that as well. However, it would be sad to see you stop putting out contents for COTC.

Pretty reasonable update, I hope you are able to find some games you are passionate about to make content for. As a bit of an aside, I would suggest doing a ton of research on Diablo 4 prior to putting all your eggs in that basket. I was in the closed end game beta, and they are clearly bringing some mobile game elements into D4. There will definetly be hype on launch, so if it is an IP you enjoy there will be people looking for content.

Oh thanks for the heads up. Sadly most games are getting some mobile elements like microtransactions, battle pass, log in rewards etc. I'll just have to see how demanding it is.

I guess a Switch or Steam Deck would be a worthwhile investment as well? I guess that depends on the kinds of games you'd enjoy, along with the fact that the Steam Deck is very expensive despite its convenience and decent performance

Yeah I'll have to look into Steam Decks but probably down the line. I picked up a fairly inexpensive capture card to try out for now.

As someone who plays gacha game since 2013 and during my time when i was working abroad on a rotation for months to work and a month to go home and have a break. Gacha games are mainly what i played and i had a ps3 back then but never used it that much. Now since last year, i eventually gave up on my last "hardcore" grinding gacha game which was WOTV. But 2021 i was already playing my Switch and barely used my phones for gaming. Nowadays its 95% games on switch and little gaming for octopath cotc. I've had that burn out several times in the past but im glad i just sticked and came back to what real gaming is, the console games and the Switch is the perfect one for me since like you, i have kids and they take some time with the tv and so the flexibility of the switch is perfect for me esp i play majority of just jrpgs on the Switch since buying one 2021. I've never been much happier this way, no more daily thing that you need yo log in etc. Well, i do log in daily for cotc but i dont dont always do daily missions or caits. Find something you will love, like me, i love jrpgs and im still currently playing persona 5 royal and hopefully finish it asap so i can fully concentrate on the new fire emblem engage game. Lots to look forward to this year too. Sea of Stars, Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes,Suikoden 1&2 remasters which i would love to play again just for nostalgia, Front Missio Remakes, even Octopath 2 and so on. Good luck on whatever you decide to do and in the end, whats important is what you enjoy playing and yes, family will always come first. I'll be staying in your channel btw.🙂

Thanks for the Ride, Teucent! Gatcha games are a little tense tô cover for long periods. I love the Channel, and Will stay around, i plan on playing both Octopath Traveler II and Diablo 4 (huge fan of Diablo games here). Hope you achieve in whichever game you decide tô cover!

The thing is, if you already play that game, you are inelegible to receive any rewards. So its only for new users....it does not make any sense to pay on another game just to receive rubies in cotc...
