Hi Chioma, I want to get your opinion or advice. So I applied for a job as an early children educator from Nigeria right and I got a feedback. I was told to access my credentials and send them the acessment.It's likely that I will get the job from the look of things but I want to know, Is it worth it? Moving from Nigeria to Australia on that job. I have four children plus hubby. My husband does biz so he is not affected but I want a second opinion to guide us. Thank you

Please check on the assessing authority's website for your occupation. All occupations are not the same.

@@lifewithchioma thank you. I have checked with VET ASSESS ( they are my assessing body according to my chosen occupation) and I was asked to confirm from Home Affairs. Home Affairs have now confirmed that it could be any of them. Thank you for your help

Not sure what a higher diploma is in Australian terms, but generally diplomas are considered high risk for study visas

@chloeb4711 Hi Chloe. Sorry didn't mean to cause any worry. I was just overthinking. Yes it is still in the skilled occupation list. But on the list of courses eligible for extended post-study work rights, there are such few social work courses on the list. But with this course list, they say they selected courses that are in areas of verified skill shortage. So I was just wondering
