We are a sort of captive market for China, thanks to our queer import policies for quite some time. This also works as an adverse factor ! If a large Chinese industrial capacity is tied up in supplying to India specific exports and the Indians put hurdles in it's way, it hurts the Chinese interest. To avoid such a situation the Chinese will display a "compromise", real or illusionary is what we have to be careful about !

I don’t see any change in Chinese strategies towards india. China had been occupying indian border areas by salami slaying tactics and indians cannot do much to stop it. Even in the 2020 chinese intrusion, the indian reaction was late . It was reported chinese occupied large chunks of indian land but indians as usual were silent and even Modi added salt to injury by denying any loss of indian land

India is a mediator between Ukraine & Russia. But US, UK & and it's NATO allies are supporting Ukraine with more sophisticated weapons, to see Russia is defeated in a strategic manner. Do you think that India can pressure US, UK & NATO to accept the outcome, that is not in their favour. Pls see in present situation Russia won't be surrendering back those regions annexed and joined with Russia in any case.

Is it possible that China feels threatened about increase of US hold in Bangladesh, maybe even US bases in Bangladesh and/or a step back in US-India trust in the light of what is seen as a US sponsored coup in Bangladesh and is making its moves with India

The Chinese trade sanctions, hopefully, don’t mirror the protectionism policies created in the global 1920’s economy. We need to ensure that China predatory mercantilism policies and protect against this trade war being practiced. If countries follow the protectionist trend then we have a global trade issue.

Dear Sir, Please tell me will India will give free hand to chinese company to invest and takeover companies after disengagement at border. If that is so, will they take advantage after some years when they want. I fear that they will use the money earned through these companies is used to create internal disturbances.

@@alyasagan3620 China established mostadvanced & strong manufacturing base. Now it is also widening it's manufacturing capacity to friendly countries. Because US & EU countries increased tariff, it doesn't mean, the total export banned, but dipped. Its only a matter of time China will capture other markets. One must understand G7 is only 27% of the global GDP and may be less than 20% of the global population. That means China is still open to majority of the markets. China's economy may dip for a while, but shoot back in a strong manner. India will also utilize this upheaval to capture more markets. It is important to talk less and do more. Hope wisdom may prevails among the political elites and the medias.
