Another great video Andy, couldn't believe how much algae you have in your upflow filter, mate. I must be the lucky one as I don't get issues with it, maybe because I salt my pond and keep it at 0.3%. I have an EA Tempest but have no issues with blocking, but I do clean it by putting air into the filter.

Now that it's cleaned out it should definitely work better. Will be interesting to see if changing the air direction makes a difference. Looking forward to your pond visit video. 👍🏻

My upflow filter wouldn't bubble the media, I purchased a bigger pump which helped but I'm going to try your alterations, it looks like that's the solution 😊

They recommend that this water polishing filter goes after the main filter, is your directly off a pond pump? Need to get some hydrogen peroxide in the pond to kill off all the blanket weed👍

Thanks, mate, and yes, it runs off the skimmer line, which usually has a basket in to collect and trap any debris etc but I have a temporary pump in there which is stopping me using the basket at the moment. Andy
