I've built one if these tower filters, there all very similar, the difference here is the bypass something I wished I'd put in, I've had issues when using clay the filter removes it before it's done its job, after watching this I'm making some alterations to mine. Looking forward to the complete build. Thanks mate

Great video Andy. Could I outlet this directly into my UV before it goes into my main filter system?. I have a 5 bay Multi-bay? .

I'm going to assume your pump fed, so yes it should work, but it may slow your flow, and it's really designed as a fines filter so ideally filtered first to remove the larger particles 👍

@@DerbyKoi Hi Andy. Yes so it would be the first thing my water hit from the pump. Then it would go through the UV then into the multi bay through brushes, Japanese mat, grog, 2x help 13 moving beds and then out into pond.

@@kris308100 ok, as I say it should work but being the first filter it might restrict flow and will get dirty really fast, restricting the flow even further. as I say it's meant to go after main filtration and just collect the fines.

Hi mate, I don't have a specific supplier, I generally search for the cheapest. I've been using Facebook market place for quite a few things and ebay also. Check out the youtuber @skeggy pond he runs a shop and will try and get you the best prices. 👌
