I would make the Terrabalde line more true melee - make the TNE basically just stronger nights edge with a bit bigger swirl for a bit more range Terrablade could be a lot of diff things, your choice

I would change the souls required for Skeletron Prime and the Twins crafting recipes. The Mechanical Skull is crafted with 5 souls of light and 5 souls of night. Meanwhile, the Mechanical Eye is crafted with 10 souls of light. It would make more sense for the Twins to be crafted with half light and half night, since Spazmatism uses cursed flames, a corruption thing.

souls of night drop both from crimson and corruption enemies though and I am pretty sure retinazer is somewhat of based off of crimson

I've always had some gripes with the combat classes. Melee - Shields. Actual shields. With all the game's projectiles its kind of insane that their is hardly a practical method of just blocking them. Real shields could block damage and have a capacity depending on the player's "stamina", a melee equivalent of a mana bar. This would also make true melee a lot more viable and fun. Mage - Mage should be more magical. Colorful projectiles are just...colorful projectiles. They don't do anything you could consider magical. Perhaps the projectiles could have elemental effects that do different things like freezing enemies, putting some to sleep, etc. Ranger - Why are bows just retextured rapid fire guns? I would love to do an archer playthrough with actual archer mechanics. Bows could charge for increased damage, speed, and piercing. Obviously that would lower dps by a lot...but how about this: Status effect specialty. An archer subclass could specialize in using arrows to apply debuffs, with the Arcane reforge repurposed to scale the effectiveness of debuffs. A cursed flame arrow with a full arcane build and archer armor could perhaps do 200+ dps and last a lot longer too. Summoner - I've always believed that minions should have more unique abilities. That way you'd have reason to use all minions regardless of progression and you could play around with more strategies. Abigail's ghost could give you a one time revive at death, Imps could buff the Firecracker multiplier, etc.

@@OMGREALDUMMYFROMDVN I did a true melee run. I'd say it was fun when I knew what I was doing. Especially with all warding and max defense, yeah it gets fun

I would make an option for no evil biome and a zenith type weapon for each class to make them more viable
