I’m only noticing how much your cab shock can move left to right on its upper mount putting extra stress on the cab torsion bar bushings Maybe a spacer in there would stop cab left to right wiggle My 02 379 day cab blew a bag so this helped me a lot in doing some homework my front cab mounts were toast too Spend 300 for two from cab mounts & two new cab air bags Awesome video!

Jacking up the cab makes it really easy to get it In. Then just let the weight of the cab drop down on it.

I've done this job twice now on my sterling, each time the replacement bag deflates when air is low and looks all scrunched up and mangled while the other bag just seems to rest normally. Anyone else have this problem and maybe a cause etc?

Already changed both on my sleeper, but they’re leaking through the fittings on the air bag. Any idea if those fittings can be fixed ?

Servicing the air fitting is not generally possible, however usually an easy fix. Remove the air line, with a sharp box cutter take off 1mm from the line. Cut at a 90 degree angle to the hose. Re-install airline.

Take a razor blade and cut a small amount off the air line. Make sure you cut it straight.
