What if you are offered a permanent role and accepted but then the employer changes the terms and offers a fixed term contract, is that not a breach of contract.

Hi Sylvia your rights in this situation will depend on whether the permanent offer is an offer of new employment or if you are already an employee. If you were made an offer of employment on permanent terms and the employer changed it, then whether they were in breach of contract would depend on the terms already agreed between you.
