Changing NOX Sensor Position B on 2018 Vauxhall insignia B 2.0 Turbo Diesel

This video is my journey from having an Engine Management Light (EML) warning, then diagnosing a NOX Sensor B fault, then buying a new sensor and replacing the faulty sensor.
I'm not a professional mechanic so if you have any issues please seek assistance from a trained mechanic, workshop or garage.
I won't put the part number on here as it is available from the parts dealers when you tell them your number plate, registration number.
Sensors are available on eBay for £150 and the one I bought from GSF Parts locally was £330. This was cheaper to do that the cost of the dealer doing it for me as they wanted £750 to change over this sensor.

Hiya, I have the Australian version of this car - is this the oxygen sensor AFTER the DPF? I am getting a P11DC code, and its guzzling petrol atm... was told its a POS. 2 sensor im assuming thats the same as a POS B?

I think position two is the back end of the exhaust just before the silencer. Good luck with getting it repaired.

Was told by the mechanic it's the post DPF sensor, that's all

Was this an aftermarket sensor or an original vauxhall one? Just asking as mine has failed and needs replacing

It was an aftermarket one, but never completely fixed the issue, i'd be tempted to buy a vauxhall one if i did it again.

​@@bobgriffiths I've also tried 2 different ones. 1 of them had a permament fault: missing communication and the second one intermitent fault with the same description. Let me know if OEM one works

It did solve the problem of the NOx Sensor yes, but then another warning light came up regarding lost communication with the NOx sensor. U029E. After this I couldn't afford to change over any more parts so I sold the car. I don't know whether it's related to a cable going faulty or another part of a control system in the end. Hope you have better luck in the long run.

​@@bobgriffiths i did check the voltage of the wires from the connector. The 12V read correctly but one of the CAN (don't know which one is High which is Low) didn't read at all but one of them did read 2.5

Is this the post DPF oxygen sensor that you replaced ?
