After a few years I am finally changing out my heart daith piercing! It was a little tricky so I decided to film it. How long have you had your daith pierced??
I was pierced with a 16g and the new jewelry is also a 16g

I've had my daith done for 3 years. It took about a year to heal enough that could change the jewelry, but I had a hoop with a captive bead. Those are such a pain. I have one almost exactly like the one you put in.

Yes takes sooooo long to heal!! Honestly these hinge type earrings are night and day!! I had a captive bead in my cartilage piercings and they were always a pain to take out lol

I have a heart Daith and it accidentally moved so I went back to “have it fixed” but the lady that was my piercer was on maternity leave, so another lady “fixed” it. She took it out completely and I bled so much and went thru so much pain. She put it back in but she bent the heart and now it looks all ugly. I cried for hours 😢

@@Leximarcellaa just found your video many years after you posted. Got this piercing in desperate attempt to help my migraines lol didn’t help a damn medication seems to help but it’s really cute and time to change out my heart piercing to when I just bought from Lulu‘s thanks to you!!! I have had trouble with the heart one turning in my ear and the little gap getting stuck actually inside the piercing so I want a more secure one and I am confident that I can get it out myself. Thank you for giving me the confidence to do so sorry you suffer Migraines also. This video is super super helpful

Great video lil sis! My twin has that and a bunch more she just did a video on her channel all about her piercings (Trish P is her KZbin channel name) I don’t know if she had that original heart one but I think the one she has in now is a heart also and it has the diamonds on it like yours or it might be exactly like yours. It’s a very cute piercing but I don’t think my job would allow it. xoxo

I have a lot of question, I recently went and got daith piercing and the piercer said that I can't have a heart shape due of how small space was? I'm like I believe I can still get it once it heals up. Can I still get the heart shape ♥️ even though my ear 👂 🤔 small or??

@nellydoyley3815

Okay, sorry if it’s this is long but hope it helps. I have 12 piercings and have experienced keloids on mostly just the cartilage ones and honestly, if you are prone to them then you are likely to get it on a cartilage piercing. My double helix piercings were a bummer to heal and the lowest piercing would flare up many times over the years of it healing. I’ve had them for three years now and the lowest one has only just healed. I would say this was due to a number of reasons including playing with them unnecessarily, not cleaning them everyday like I should of and also knocking them and sleeping on them. I had a small keloid form on my tragus despite looking after it well but it healed fairly quickly because I was persistent with salt water soaks. My advice is if you’re going to get a piercing (especially a cartilage piercing) then please, please be persistent with the hygiene of them. If it seems irritated for whatever reason then just avoid touching it when unnecessary and always have clean hands when you do. Sometimes it can be hard to stop touching it because it seems all you want to do is touch it, well for me anyway. Salt water soaks are your best friend and the most affective at keeping your piercing clean! So avoid using anything else to clean it, ignore what anyone else may say, ignore the KZbin videos that give you keloid hacks (if you get one and are looking for a quick solution) Only listen to your piercer basically. Lastly, DO NOT allow anyone to pierce you with a gun. A reputable professional will never pierce you with a gun so just don’t make that mistake.
@whitetoesforhoes
@whitetoesforhoes 4 жыл бұрын
Nelly Doyley omg thanks for warning me about the gun. i didn’t even realize that. at this point i don’t think i want to risk it. so far i’ve had 3 keloids, one on my nose piecing and 3rds piercing, which they both healed, and then also on both ends of my industrial which those didn’t heal 😞😞 it’s frustrating but now that i think about it that all happened when i was a teenager and there’s a possibility i could have been taking care of it better
