Why do these screws strip so easily? Is there a more robust replacement option for the screw itself, i.e., just something of higher quality?

Try a different screwdriver. Once I did that, it was much easier and less stripping. Cheers from LA.

@@MarkusSenior Amazing thanks man! Very helpful! So I actually just picked one up and it works perfectly.... Except, 3 of the 8 screws didn't go in all the way. Any thoughts there? I tried different screws in the three problematic locations and they still didn't go in all the way. Not sure why?

Just saw your comment. Were you able to screw them in? Could there be any dirt? Try some compressed air to clean. Cheers

@@MarkusSenior Thanks man, I got it handled. I had a really cheap screwdriver that itself was actually getting stripped out. I found that a 1.4 mm flathead screwdriver works perfectly, thanks again man!

Try to take a different screw driver. The one that comes with the drone is not the best. Good luck. Cheers from LA.

Do you just replace the damaged propellers or do you have to replace A and B or replace all 8 propellers?
@MarkusSenior9 ай бұрын
I replaced only the two propellers you see in the video. No need to replace all of them.... according to DJI's manual, you should replace them as a pair. Hope that helps. Cheers from LA.

Easy peasy!

Yep it is… best would be not crash in the first place. 😜

I don’t like how all you showed was screwing an unscrewing. this was really for third graders, who shouldn’t have a drone. Why are there two different different propellers and zero *#*%ing directions? I got a QR code to scan from DJI and it shows the lady taking out of a bag fully set up.

Sorry to hear that the video was not helpful to you. While it is pretty simple to replace the propellers, I agree some directions could be helpful. I will try to add more explanations in future videos. Cheers from LA.

@@MarkusSenior Add notes about the marks on the propeller, how like marks should be paired on the arm, and which arms to attach them to.

@@MarkusSeniorYou should also mention how tight the screws should be and the fact that props must always be changed in pairs (not advised to mix & match). Also should mention that props should be checked before each flight and any damaged, cracked, chipped or bent props should be replaced before flying again. Do you know if there's any recommended max flight time when reached you should change your props regardless of whether there is any damage seen? I'm closing in on 50 hrs of flight time on my props and all still look good but wondering if it makes sense to replace to minimize any possible future problems. Seems like cheap insurance to minimize later crashes or drone loss.
