Awesome video JC. And you are a very smart and intelligent man. That catch And cook on the water was awesome I've never seen that done on a kayak before. I give you props brother for that. And instead of these whiny people saying it's illegal to do that on the water you were smart enough to keep the fish heads and guts that you flayed In your cooler. Awesome work brother. That Fish looked so mouth watering. I bet it tastes so good, and fresh. And once against congratulations awesome video. You had the wind against you cooking it,the waves, the big boats. I whish you nothing but success. God-bless!

Killin it with the Zebco. I've had lots of fine days and nights with my Zebco. I think it was a 505 or something like that back in the 60's lol .One of the old push button reels, and a black Zebsco rod. I remember having to save up for it. I was young married, 2 kids used to stare at the meat section in A&P. We were broker than bandits. Used it for years. Man you are tearin up the SheepsHead. I think it's a first JC.... Kookin in the Kayak.... Yep... I'd be telling Oldtown about this... LOL This is great JC. lol I'm lovin it. You da man.

@RadReelingFishing3 жыл бұрын
In recent years we've really began to see Dolphins stalking like this. I fished the Skyway Pier a couple of times and they literally grab your fish when they are being reeled in. I also had them grab the Pinfish I was using as bait.

Question: I new to fishing, mostly from shore and piers. Looking at getting a 14 foot jon boat or a 12 foot kayak. Does the Min Kota trolling motor has a home lock feature where it'll take you back to your launch point. Not too good ant navigation.
@RadReelingFishing2 жыл бұрын
within a certain distance the auto pilot will take you to specific locations you've saved.
@mambo479113 жыл бұрын
Great video JC. When are you going to really put that spot lock to use and start targeting big bridge monsters? You've got a huge advantage with the spotlock keeping you in place. I miss your old big Snook videos too.
@RadReelingFishing3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting. I very often move with the fish that are migrating. I will get on the Snook again for sure when the water warms up a bit. Night video recording of Snook fishing is a real challenge depending on where I'm at. I do have a bridge I want to Snook fish in the spring so stay tuned because that trip will be epic!

Hey JC, wanna to ask you. Do you need to register your kayak with a trolling motor in fl?. I just bought the old town sportsman autopilot 120, but don’t know if I have to register it. Thanks.
@RadReelingFishing3 жыл бұрын
Yes in Fl it has to be registered. Make sure it's registered as a canoe or kayak, not a boat. A boat registration costs more.

I’m looking at the penn pursuit 3 reel but I’m not sure between the 3000 or 4000 size I am looking for a reel that can handle smaller fish but that could also stand a chance against snapper etc would the 3000 do the job?
@RadReelingFishing3 жыл бұрын
I like the 4000 for saltwater. It holds more line so it casts farther.
