Iridiums (NGK CR9EIX) last longer but still need to be replaced at 25-30 h, these engines are under very high load almost all the time

Why not just change to brand new spark plugs? Small price to pay for safety, specially when those plugs are already rusted, and can seize on the cylinder head, because the treads in the cylinder are already rusting. I never had any problems on my jet ski, and is 10 years old. Also do not forget to apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the boots, so they can prevent moisture from entering the plug, and be removed without having to break the boot.

Hi, I have a 2013 Kawasaki 300x ultra Jetski, and I’m intending to do the 25 hour service myself. Are you able to guide me on the parts I need to purchase, and what is involved in the 25 hour service? Thanks. Ben.

Hi OK I understand yes the boots can be tight what I do is pull up the boot with two hands while twisting the boot at the same time, and you really need to pull up hard, be carefull of the wire only pull up and twist on the boot. Also you can contact me on my face book page; Jets Ski
