Changing the Batteries for the Chimes on my Bulova C3542 Wall Clock

Filmed on 8/1/2023,
The clock that started it all for my clock collection. I change the batteries on this clock for the chimes since the chimes were having issues. A few times the clock would just cut itself off halfway through chiming the hour. It also kept losing track of what hour is was therefore the hour wasn't in sync with the chimes. Since changing the batteries, this has fixed the problem. Those old batteries were in the clock since I got it back in October of 2020.

C Batteries last about 3 years with each change. So far I have a Daniel Dakota and the C battery after 1 year is still going strong

Yes 3-4 years on one C Battery which is awesome. But usually Energizer is a good brand I would not go to Duracell@@Jamestube8439

Squiggles my jcpenney D&A clock does this weird noise when the c battery is low the song sound like dog screaming in pain.

I have a battery box that has a battery meter that can test any batteries I also have another battery meter that has red for positive and black for negative I got them for Christmas last year in 2022 and I buy and collect batteries and when my mom or my stepdad needs a battery I give them a battery do you use a battery meter to test any good or bad batteries 🪫🔋
