If you can’t use an Allen key you can also get either T handles that are about 4” long with an actual handle or you can get Allen sockets that alloy you to use a socket extension and ratchet or in the case of 1/4” sockets a screw driver like angle.

Thanks for the details on your upgrade! Can't wait for Part 2. If you can, please put hyperlinks to the parts that you purchased from Wen and Amazon in the description. Finished my second project using the provided pinless blade adapters. They are OK but I will definitely upgrade because they do take some time to transition from one internal cut to the next.

I was having that problem, when I was using the thumb screws After I changed to the hex head screws and use the socket and nut driver, the only time the blade slip out, is when I have the tension on the upper arm to tight. I hope this helps.
