Stanedge Golf Club in Derbyshire was bought by former Ladies European Tour Professional, Fame Tate, in early 2019.
Since then, Fame has invested in all aspects of the business as she attempts to turn its fortunes around. But, will she succeed?

I'm a superintendent of a private course with a million dollar budget. It's expensive AF but membership for my club is $25,000 for the lowest level. It's comes with the pool, tennis, bowling, 5 star restaurant and so much more, so you get a lot. The course is always in perfect condition, 007 greens, zoysia fairways and bentgrass tees. Any member that brings a guest It's free. Here are the cons, irrigation is expensive to upkeep, parts maintenance, chemicals and everything else needed is only getting more expensive as time goes on. Mowers are extremely expensive and upkeep on those is out of sight so, my best piece of advice, don't buy a golf course which the price of that alone is expensive

I love how 26 members think they can tell an owner what to do... They should be happy it remained a golf course with someone who wants to take care of it .... How could you not want this. Lol, I'm proud of fame and the team for all of their challenges!
