I worked for dodge. These dont need to be changed until every 70k miles. Highly recommend not using the cheap amazon ccv filter it will only throw codes due to these not filtering properly.

Hey brother, I checked two different brands and more or less it's the same thing except with the beautiful upcharge from dodge....now as far as 70k miles goes, that's all set on the computer for normal driving conditions...the person that owned this truck prior to me beat the hell outta this thing and that's why it was in the condition it was in during the video. So because of severe driving conditions, this is why I do the maintenance.

You can get the fleet guard it cost more and they don’t recommend changing them for 70,000 miles . The cheap ones aren’t any good and the material can break down and cause damage to the engine

It honestly looks the same especially material wise on Amazon....but it's more expensive 😩

Make sure you look into the intake heater core issue on this model!

It doesn't filter dust and dirt lol, the epa is making the diesels eat there own crap, that is what it filters, it's a septic filter 😂

Only suggestion would be to put the truck in the RUN position versus the ON. Other than that - great vid and it helped me out.

I get Fleetguard but change every 30k....70k your asking for issues Its like a15k oil change

@@WikedWips Someone said new 6.7 manual sez every 70k...my 2018 sez 67.5k changed mine at 63k and my buddies at 55k. Both were heavy but no oil on filter housing but element was pretty full of soot. For 50 bucks and an hour To change out. Cheap preventive maint once a year.
