Our food system is primarily responsible for threats to the planet. Global warming, loss of biodiversity, depletion of groundwater, land grabbing, malnutrition, multiplication of chronic diseases… If nothing changes in the next ten years, the fragile balance that allows life on earth may break.
Our plate is therefore the most powerful lever to save the planet but also to improve our health. And on this lever, we can all act.
This film tells the story of women and men around the world who are inventing another model of food that benefits the planet, nature and our health. From the creation of municipal farms for 100% organic canteens in short circuit, to anti-waste cooking methods. From transforming our food waste into compost, to reducing our meat consumption. From providing shared gardens for the most disadvantaged, to supporting policies of small independent producers. The solutions are there, at hand.
