Not necessarily true. It helped make the game a little more relevant but the game and it's state matter a hell of a lot more. Cyberpunk edgerunners coming out didn't change the perception about the game.

The only way the next game could beat the original will be a deeper faction and npc companion system. I’m 3000 hours and I’m still haunted by not being able to join meridath stout and the maelstrom on heists and corporate espionage missions.

So funny looking at the presentation. Looks very similar to many software companies struggling to scale up on wide front to meet the target. But empowering people and use product owners (mini gamedirectors) to scale up is a must. But as he points out. If the rift inbetween the diffrent gamedirectors the game will collapse before even get shipped to customers.

he joined the team in 2021 and didn't do any public appearances until 2022 for phantom liberty. So thanks for showing you've literally no clue what you're talking about and you're just repeating something without even knowing why lmfao

You don't have a clue what you are talking about. Gabe was hired on from his previous experience on the Star Wars MMO to work on Cyberpunk's multiplayer mode. That got canned and the director of the main game left so Gabe was offered to be the new director. Gabe agreed on the condition he would have the resources to fix the game and it would be done.

You are thinking of Marcin Iwinski. He is a co founder of cd projekt and was the public facing figure of the company. After the cyberpunk debacle he resigned from his position and now mostly serves of the board of directors. The guy here is Gabe, previously from BioWare that was hired to fix cyberpunk after release
