Always change your oil sooner than what the manufacturer recommends no matter what type of car it is. They simply want you to be done with it quick and buy a new one.

Exactly my car is supposed to be done every 5,000 miles but I do it between 2,000-2,500 and only use royal purple just cuz I can’t really tell when it’s dark since it revs pretty high and there’s no real normal driving in it

@@yamansiham8451 No offense, but every 3,000 miles is a waste of money. Ive personally seen oil analysis lab tests after 10k miles , plus track use , & there was no excessive wear or anything. I'd say around 6-7k miles is just right with a quality brand full synthetic. But hey, im just some random guy on the internet, what do I know?

Hey jake auto tech here (specialized in motorsports) id always recommend early oil changes that is a dry sump and will catch particulates better however you can never do to many oil changes

We run 7500 mile in our work trucks useing Shafer's oil we can send the used oil to the company and they will test it for use to see if it is still good so iv tested ony personal truck and was able to run my truck to 25000 miles amd the oil was still pretty decent, but we also have Duramaxes o they are a diesel
