Hey thanks for all your nice videos on Fooocus, especially those that use simple layers of composition from 2d programs like PS or in my case Krita as a foundation to use in Fooocus! Direct in the Fooocus folder, you have a config.txt and a config_modification_tutorial.txt file, that is there for users to do these custom changes, without needing to change deeper files. So you can just copy needed parts from config_modification_tutorial.txt (and some from the Fooocus//modules//config.py file, that isn't in the config_modification_tutorial.txt file) to the Fooocus//config.txt file! Then edit that config.txt file to your content, I guess it also prevents files from being overwritten when Fooocus is updated.

The aspect ratio and resolution defaults in Fooocus, I bet are carefully chosen, to get the best result in speed and quality. Otherwise I think the "Normal" resolutions and aspect ratios would be in the list of defaults :) AI seems at times really sensitive about that and also landscape or portait for certain types of images. For example, if you get something repeat horisontally, it can some times be fixed by changing from landscape to portrait types of res/ratios, and then just use inpaint to extend left and right if wanted/needed... and so on
@kalleblomkvist76678 ай бұрын
Btw thanks to your videos, one of my ways is to render each part I want first in Fooocus then bring all parts into Krita as layers, and make a composition out of them, then take that back to Fooocus. Such a simple, yet really powerful workflow to get things the way you like them to be, when it otherwise can be really hard to get AI not have a mind of its own hehe I really love Fooocus and it needs more attention! Keep your videos coming and I will keep on watching them!

Yes, I think it makes a good workflow. It gives you so much more control over the outcome. I am glad it helped you. In response to one of your other comments, I use 1920*1080 with no issues, but you may be right about some sizes being wonky. I have to look at the files you are talking about, I had no idea they existed. Im a typical guy, if it comes with something to read, I toss it aside and start building. Thanks for your comments.

Hi. I'm loving this series of videos. Not sure if you're aware, but there is a config.txt file in the root Fooocus folder that I think is the 'intended' config file over config.py. There is a 'config_modification_tutorial.txt' file that shows you how the config.txt can be modified. Why they have both a config.txt and config.py file I'm unsure about. Also, as your custom resolutions get higher, the checkpoints and loras may begin to struggle as they were typically built of lower resolution data.
@MasterDiffusion8 ай бұрын
As far as the resolutions I agree. It can suffer. Still seems to work fine on default though. Yes to the other. I had someone else point out the config tutorial. Im the typical guy who builds a desk and tosses the instructions aside. 🤷🏻♂️. Thanks for the input. I hope my other stuff helps you out

Go under your presets folder, there's a default.json in there - change the second line ("default_model": ... ) to the model you prefer to start with

if you're looking for the aspect ratio edits, they are in the flags file not the config file anymore

Thank you so much for sharing with us! Congratulations on your videos! I'm learning a lot. Is there a tutorial on how to install and use Foocus on a PC? I thought it was Stable Diffusion I found your workflow very interesting
@MasterDiffusion8 ай бұрын
It is stable diffusion. It’s just a handy UI someone made to make it easier. I never did one on how to install it because there were so many already made on it. If you just search for installation of fooocus you will find plenty. If you are still having issues after that check back and I’ll try to help you. Have fun!

i have a question, i would like to generate lets say a business women in suit and want to generate 20 images with fooocus but somehow it generates me almost same faces and same clothes how can i make it totally different faces, different poses, different clothes thanks

Have you tried putting the word random in front of words like woman, or clothes? The simple change in a prompt can make a big difference.

Can confirm most 16:9 renders have issues, usually unwanted pixelation at the bottom. Easy fix is if you want to do 1920x1080 make the resolution 1920x1088, you can then crop in a photo editor if you want.
@MasterDiffusion8 ай бұрын
thanks for the advice!
@fuertaquito7 ай бұрын
Exactly, stable diffusion uses resolutions multiples of 64. like all those offered by fooocus. If you put 16:9 you will deform the images and even more so if you use impainting with face swap

How do you tell fooocus what browser to open in. I dont want it grabbing my default Firefox. it crashes. thanks
@MasterDiffusion8 ай бұрын
As far as I know it’s going to open in your default. I would just change my default. If that’s something you can’t do I’m not sure. I’ll dig into the index and see if I can figure it out though.

I can only really render on ultra fast quality:(. It looks nice but I want to render on Quality setting so I can render 60 iterations for the best result. Do you have any ideas on how I can fix my system?:)
@MasterDiffusion4 ай бұрын
Have you tried to reinstall it? There is no real reason I can think of that would cause this issue. Do you have a GPU that can handle the workload?
@DivaAi8 ай бұрын
You shouldn't need to modify the config py file as that can be dangerous, you can modify the config text file in the first Fooocus folder. It also has a "config_modification_tutorial" file that shows you how to modify it.
@MasterDiffusion8 ай бұрын
its only dangerous if you don't save a copy of the file as suggested. thanks for the info though, as most guys, I never read instructions before building something. I've never seen the tutorial
@DivaAi8 ай бұрын
@@MasterDiffusion hahah Yeah, no biggy. If you pause the video at 1:44 you can see the "config" and "config_modification_tutorial" text documents :) I was just hoping that by mentioning it might save someone the headache and hassle that can sometimes come from changing the py file. Both methods work though. Thank you for the great videos, they're very helpful and informative! I'm enjoying the Fooocus content! :D
@GuyJames8 ай бұрын
@@MasterDiffusion when the program is updated you will lose the changes if you make them in the .py file. You won't if you make them in the config.txt file.
