Thanks for watching! Agree with your point. But the reason DIY is not common here is that labour is cheap. Doesnt cost much more to send the car for someone else to do it.

the socket u need to use a small micro flat screwdriver and pull out the wire pin. aftermarket side mirror holder is def a bit lower quality than the original but still able to function as it is.

@@KonWaiLuen Yeap...I bought the terminal removal tool from shopee for less than RM10...it's a ring of dedicated keys to remove various connector pins in the car connector system. Mine was Myvi..using also a non original bracket which cost around rm20 plus at paramount garden spare part shop. The workshop wanted to charge rm1xx for a non original side mirror. Big bummer...

Kon, my mirror in my Mazda 6 broke ( not the entire assembly, just the glass/mirror). The waja one looked much easier to attach. The one in Mazda needed quite a fair bit of force to press in- too little it won’t click into place too hard you’ll break it.
