I enjoyed watching this one, it brings back memories. I grew up in Quebec Canada and Maine was our summer destination for vacations. We experienced the beach for the first time in Old Orchard Beach, the Gulf Stream is far from the beach so the water is very cold (low 60s) but as a kid I didn't care, all we wanted was to play in the waves. Thanks for another great video.

I LOVE Portland, ME. When I joined the Navy in 1977, I was living in NH. The AFEES station was in Portland, so I took a Greyhound bus to the center. I flew out in a snowstorm!!! Hi! You'll love Maine! We use Final Cut Pro and quite a few cameras. Our primary camera is a Canon 80D with Rode VMP+, sometimes mounted on a Ronin-S (gimbal). We use the GoPro Hero7 for some vlog-mode shots and as a secondary angle when using the Canon. On the Bike, we use a GoPro Hero 5 with Karma Grip (Tara manually filming), Two GoPro Hero 5 Sessions mounted in various locations, as well as the Hero 7. For aerial shots, we use the DJI Mavic Pro (original). We also just added a DJI Osmo Pocket for quick out and about stabilized video. For more detail on these and accessories, we do have all of our gear in our Amazon Store here: changinglanesrv.com/amazon-camera-gear Thanks for watching! 😃

Just found your channel and have enjoyed the information your sharing. I have a couple questions if you don't mind. 1) Have you found it difficult in finding places to park the 5th Wheel on your travels? 2) Did you look at a Raptor?
@ChangingLanes5 жыл бұрын
Welcome to our channel! 😊 We were in over 45 locations last year all over the East coast of the U.S. We've never had an issue finding a site, and we've stayed in Campgrounds, RV Parks, State Parks, COE (Army Core Of Engineers) Sites, etc. We just plan ahead and make sure to call each site and confirm they are big rig friendly. We also use rvtripwizard.com, which has a lot of great tools to find locations. I think National Parks are a lot more size restricted, but there are always great campgrounds and RV parks outside the national parks. We did look at Raptors. For us (and I think for most), the first step was finding the right floorplan for us. There were a couple of brands with similar floorplans but, to us, the Grand Design's just felt more solid and better construction than other's we looked at. Once we were leaning toward GDRV, we researched their warranty, customer service and support. We wanted to make sure that the warranty did not preclude full time living and also that they would work directly with us on any warranty issues, with a mobile tech or sending us parts directly. All of that checked out and we went with it. We've not regretted our choice one bit! Nothing against Keystone or any other brand. We can only comment on our experience with GDRV. Our home has been wonderful and the minor issues we've had were handled directly as they promised. Thanks for watching, Mike!

Ha! There are some cool old school arcades here in Maine that would definitely quench your thirst for some real games. Next time! (I’m two years too late on this one, haha) I live about an hour and a half from here in Rockland, ME. Some interesting stuff, good lighthouse and breakwater collection as well! Glad you at least made it up here to begin with. The lighthouse pronunciation sounds legit : one of our lighthouses here, specifically the one on the breakwater in Rockland. They call it the Breakter Rockland Harbor Light Light - harbor harbor light .

Nice!! Lobster eating is certainly a skill (to do it right). I learned as a child in my Mom's home town, Maisonette, New Brunswick, Canada. We were taught to eat "everything" and waste nothing. We even "sucked" out the flesh in the tiny legs, LOL. The "poison" part she referred to is the brain, don't break or eat it... :-) Right now beside me is a lobster claw (one I saved from childhood) that is larger than my hand. Back then it was normal to get a huge lobster right from the fishermen (person) at the docks when they arrived from pulling in the traps. One would feed 4 people!! Yummy!!
