Absolutely right, keep close to the centre of the road, if you are learning. You cannot see where the sidecar is unless you turn your head to look. And you may not be able to do that if you need your eyes to see to the front. This ensures maximum space for the sidecar wheel.

Is there a shaft drive connecting the rear wheel of the motorcycle to the sidecar wheel so that they move simultaneously or how is the sidecar wheel driven to maintain balance of driving force?
@gorkacg8462 Жыл бұрын
the sidecar wheel doesn't have traction, you have to actively steer the handlebars to keep the bike straight

Greets from Germany! You'd made a really good video, can be used for everybody who's thinking about having or buying a sidecar - bike in the future... very good explained. Im riding gear-ups since more than 40 years and im looking for a new one in an old style like Ural or ChangLijan, because my last Ural was very good for riding on trails outside the asphalted roads. It is very good to use on gravel roads or really offroad....try it, its absolutely funny!! So I found your video and I could learn a lot of the new generation of chinese motorbikes. But the question for me is: is it the same engine as the two cylinder - 650 - engine of kawasaki or is it an ownone build by CL, also a copy? Are the engines delivered by Kawasaki or are they build in China, possibly by Kawasaki licensed ? Can you answer those questions please? When it's right, than it's a wonderful working engine and good suitable for putting it into a sidecar-bike!! I've never seen a CL 650 in nature, the next dealer in Germany is more than 450 kilometers from my home and there are only a handful engines on the road, all in the nearby of the home of the dealer... I'm very interested for more informations cause i 'm really interested to buy a bike like this..... And next: I hope you'll make another video in the next time where you explain the functionallity and reliability, and, if it's so: some failures or points of misconstruction.... thanks also for answering, I think, there are a lot of people who wanted to have some more informations and technical deteails, cause it's a very cheap offer for a complete Sidecar-Motorbike. THANK YOU, GODD LUCK FOR YOU AND YOUR GROWING FAMILY Peter

hi, peter, thank you for watching my video, this was my first sidecar and i never would take it off road :) this one look to fancy for that. maybe ural is a more rustic sidecar concept. about the engine its the same that Kawasaki and CFmoto usesm they all come from same factory :) in my opinion this engine is more suitable for asphalted road them offroad. as you can imagine i do review of the bikes and i dont have them that long for talking about reliability, major failures and other negatives that usually comes with time. Also like i sayed it was my first sidecar so i have no comparasion term. the thing i can do is put in contact with the owner of the shop and he can clarify you more about your concerns. THE FAMILY is bigger now, no more good nigths sleeping :) regards

Hey, thank you for answering my post. I wish you all the best to you and your family. And I think : you drove a sidecar, and you'll remember it in later times, you see that it's possible to ride with the complete family and I think, you'll do it!!! Also : make it. Best wishes, Peter

Is there a driveshaft? Good try for the Chinese factory. I guess a boxer engine set up is more expensive

It has a CFMOTO 650cc chain drive engine used in many 2 wheel motorcycles. This is a high quality engine. There is no reverse gear like Ural or Dnepr sidecar motorcycles but this sidecar motorcycle is a lot lighter in weight so you don't really need reverse gear. I wish this sidecar motorcycle was available in the USA. Another brand of sidecar motorcycle is the MASH Sidecar motorcycle that is slightly less powerful but does have a reverse gear. It is also chain drive.
@christopherchen6170 Жыл бұрын
@@n4zou yes its a gas guzzling 650cc engine. there is an option to get reverse gear, but then the forward gears would only go up to 5. like you said there's no need for a reverse
