5:46 not really explained here, so i’ll clarify for yall, as one of the TCs that helped with this video: question: why is verina more needed with changli than other characters? answer: because she has a very fast concerto rotation and changli benefits a lot more from that than anyone else. explanation: you can often find that characters like jinhsi, jiyan, encore and other popular DPS choices can work with a support rotation up to the length of baizhi’s and not lose out too much on DPS because of it. however, changli having her double intro rotation making her significantly more consistent makes her very dependent on verina as setting that up requires precious time. spending that time trying to get someone like baizhi’s concerto energy to just barely work is very time-consuming and as a result, you don’t spend enough time on your 2 DPS characters in your changli team. this results in overall a bigger DPS loss than what you would find in jinhsi teams, jiyan teams, and other popular DPS options. while changli very much works with other support options, she currently benefits the most from verina’s short rotation time, making changli a bit dependent on her, which is the core issue stiorg mentions here. you’re welcome ^^

Tbh, the more I play wuwa the less I am caring about dps theory crafting. It's like, Wuwa is actively making you enjoying the gameplay (which is the important part) more than spreadsheeting your damage. I saw changli's kit. It had cool combos, I pulled. End of story.

Her true sight attacks are so fun to use, when she goes birb mode then slam that's so cool, when she dashes to an enemy from afar and slams her sword it feels so satisfying. Then ofc let's not forget her reso skill looks so nice. All in all her being "mid" just depends on how good someone is at using her

Unlike all the other characters She can be played a bit different than the classic same combo rotation Jinshi has for exemple. Like Jinshi it's hit 4x, Skill, hit 4x times again, hold melee then big Skill to do big numbers. do that in repeat forever... With Changli, you can do the combo after your Skill or jump just after your Skill so you go up in phoenix mode then do the flying combo. For smol ennemies just use your Skill, phoenix jump, plundge. She's just fun to play as. Game gone in easy mode since I've got her.

I tried to make a nuke dmg and she did 123k with horrible combo and mid build (258.2cd 65.8cr)! Seriously this character is really powerful , fun and cool. She might be one of the strongest characters in the game too!

I've heard of some sick stuff Kuro made in PGR which is an Amplifier type Chars that are both DMG dealer and support at the same time. So you have like two or three of them in a team and they buff each other in cycle while also do their own DMG it sounds so cool. I assume Changli would fall into that category of unit.

That's a very stupid team comp because there are game modes that require a team of a specific element like physical so you have the phys amp, dps, and tank/debuffer. If you try to use lightning amp in a game mode that requires phys team, you will lose a lot of time, damage, and points. The difference is significant

@@Kastienburg amplifiers in wuwa works with every character in the game but in pgr, amplifiers are tied to a specific element. Sure they can buff everyone but they wont do damage if they are on a team of an element that is different from theirs and in pgr, rotation is key and amplifiers absolutely must be apart of rotation and you cant switch back to another immediately like in wuwa so if you switch to amplifier, you are stick with them until you can swap back to another character and by then you will have lost a lot of time, damage, and points

I don't know about the numbers, all I know is that my Changli nukes the field faster than any other character I've been using before and feels way more fun and dynamic in the process as she's flying around. I know my Jinhsi is just as good or maybe better, but Changli feels better to play somehow. As for Jiyan... every time the story gave me him to play, I never had all that much fun. So I'd say as far as pure fun goes, Changli is absolute top of the list for me.

I don't really care If the character is weak/bad or hard to play, if I enjoy the character or like it, I will pull for it. it all comes down to what you will enjoy most, plus another mommy to add to my roster :)

Something to consider too is front loaded, back loaded and consistently maintained dmg - you actually need that kind of variety depending on what kind of boss/mobs you are fighting. Jiyan is incredible, but he takes longer to ramp up to that insane dmg because he is so burst/liberation reliant. In fights that have waves of bosses/mobs or ones that shoot across to the other side of the area, this becomes irritating because part of his liberation/forte gets wasted even with his wide aoe and then it takes time to ramp up again. Characters that might not nuke as great in one go, but can provide consistently good dmg can be favorable depending on the kind of boss/mobs - quick swap can create interruption resistance but it can also be hard to pull off (like me with mobile on controller) and sometimes you need a big nuke to finish off a boss before their health bar refreshes - so it just depends on the context.

In my personal opinion she feels amazing to play but lacking at the same time Her Skill has no resistance to interruption. Atk string reset if you keep dodging mid combo results in losing that true sight mode because you need to keep doing that two and third atk string to enter her true sight not to mention miss a hit on her true sight atk won't give you forte stacks. In terms of dmg i personally has no issues with it but i understand where these people are coming from. Her Forte dmg deals underwhelming dmg while taking much time to stack not to mention using it makes her really vulnerable during the animation so it feels like "i do so much and i get too little rewards but higher risk"

But when I got Changli, she is out damaging Encore and eliminating everything before I could rotate to Encore's ult. Changli isn't even built to the best that I can in terms of echoes. It is insane.

She doesn't have I-frames and True Sights atks is cancelled if you dodge mid animation. Quick swap mechanic isn't supported by Kuro and you will lose valuable buffs and you're just making simple things complicated. Changli is best atm for Dual Dps team. She is second to Yinlin if you want her to be a sub-dps.

Love changli but what will Make me love her more is a little bit of atk speed buff even just 10% will do. After experiencing the atk speed buff in Depths of illusive realm, she becomes more comfortable to play with. There is nothing wrong in her damage. She’s not the damage per screenshot type like jinhsi but her damage is well spread in all of her kit. What hinders her capability is the long ass animations, the long combo chain. Yes swapping can help with the chaining but maybe a little bit of adjustment in her overall attack speed can make her a bit more fluid to play on field.

i mean. she is a support, giving fire bonus dmg on her outro and her c4 gives a extra amount of attack, if you were to give her the energy recharge set will she will give more atack then give her the purple bird and those are 4 bonuses Giving a Outro skill:Fusion dmg bonus 20% Resonance liberation 25% C4: after intro skill if you manage for 30 seconds all members gain 20% atack buff Energy set 5 pieces: Upon outro skill next resonator gains a 22.5% attack buff Impermance Heron: DMg dealt will increase by 12% so yea very big pp bonuses. thats why it dosent really matter if she gets powerscaled in dmg because she is a really good support.

I can't believe I'm saying this, love this game so much I gave up all my other gacha and even uninstalled some for space, but as an F2P I'm starting to feel burnt out. I used to jump into it every chance I get and ball out as long as I possibly could, but the drought, the leveling up of two teams properly, the micro of waveplates and other res, and so on just creeped up on me. No luck or astrites left to pull for Changli, a character I really liked enough to save for, is probably the last straw. Bummer.

I have both chars jinhsi and changli and are both built above decent. My conclusion:- big damage is Jinhsi BUT not so big damage but really fun to play Changli If you wanna push ToA pull jinhsi. CHANGLI can also push ToA but not as good as jinhsi. CHANGLI definitely is more fun to play in overworld though

@@stioorg your problem with 3rd and 4th is not an issue. 3rd always hits and back even the enemy with a little bit ranged gets hit. her gauge also easily rises by 5th attack. Her heavy attack is spammable. Once Liberation Gauge is full you can do Heavy Attack again. Imagine just doing 2 combos and 2 Skills will full the gauge then release > Ulti > Heavy attack again. its too easy. You are just used to Jinhsi wherein just combo then skill. I prefer Changli because of her spammable heavy attack AOE. Also, her skill can easily parry attacks on bosses. as a melee, her 5th attack really helps to get near enemies so I really wonder where is the issue?

Problem in this "swap swap swap" things is that you just losing Changli dps, a lots of her dps as main dd(also your a$$ got kicked 3 times when you did this swaps lol) problem is that her not bad overall dmg is smeared on all her buttons, her E, her hold forte, her ult, and if you fck up even one part of it you ll lose big chunk of dmg and time. While braindead Jinshi will overkill Changli's dmg with easy reachable and simple E, even not mentioning her fast n free Jue and ult.

I may have misunderstood the first problem u mentioned or maybe I didn't notice. But smth to add, u actually get ts on her 4th BA right on her kick animation. So u CAN dodge out of it. ( Also 4th BA cannot miss if ur in range bc it originates from the enemy if present) Tbh i just swap cancel just swap cancel if i think its dangerous. But its good to know ig. The 3rd and 4th attacks will still build your true sight even if you somehow manage to miss iirc and that matters the most for me. You don’t really care a lot about their damage since it’s pretty small. Most of the damage will be in her forte full stack attack and ult. The best thing is that her true sight attack and skill will teleport you to the enemy if you’re far from them.

Problem is this depends on CONTEXT. I saw Jinshi's hit for 300k and above a million on lv80 in the open world and abyss so not the meme event. Not sure how cracked / cons heavy these had been but we do know Jinshi slaps the hardest for now. (I guess she is the lore main character for her region after all). Now how invested was your Chang for that respectable number?^^ And her support team / buff options. Was it legit, food potions or meme event? Those questions are what matter.^^

Her kit is just more complex than most other Resonators right now. The only thing hard though is trying to optimize her.

​​@@tatsumaki7829 have u tried the heavy attack double phoenix? The quick plunge from ts conquest? E swap cancel or ts conquest swap cancel or both in the same 1-2second window. Do uk when she gains the ts buff from her 4th basic so u can dodge out of 4th and still get the buff? Same with ur e. Do uk when u can cancel ur e with ult and still get true sight. Do u buffer all ur forte heavy(this is a must) Do u keep a ts stack while doing the forte- ulti-forte so u can basic right after and gain a stack. Monkey on stick. Perma air combat. What u parrying with. She's got so many options. Autos. E. Counter. Ts x2. Each have different timing. U see where I'm getting with this. It is this massive amount of options letting u adapt to very different situations. Lots of micromanaging if u want to. Emphasis on "want to". U can honestly get away with just the simplest amount of combos on her without optimising and she'll still do her job which is the skill floor and it's very achievable by people which gives the idea she's "not hard". But optimising her out of so many options make her "hard"

You mentioned so many options right?? thats what makes it much more breathable. you dont need her to maximize all of her kit to the fullest, (like straight right through the script) just do whats best in the situation.

@@tatsumaki7829 It's not breathing space, u only choose one time and u wanna make the best option. Giving options don't necessarily make it easy. It gives u choices to do more than what normally can be achieved - Would u like a faster forte or do u want more dmg. The way ur seeing this is "I don't have to use her full kit to get the baseline of what i need", what we're pushing for is "I wanna push how far I can macro and micro- manage this character" Tbh I don't understand ur point completely. How does having options make it easier if they give u different outcomes. If it's the same results. Yeah. But they're not.

Changli is HARD? Are people fing stupid? Try playing Calcharo if you want to see hard. Her combos are very easy to do, has so many hits in each attack that countering is super easy, her attacks have a ton of dashes and aerials making it very easy top kill enemies that keep running and easy to avoid a lot of ground attacks. Her damage windows are pretty short making it possible to do them in between dodges. Tell me again how she is hard to play or mid?

i didn't say she is mid , and i said she has a low skill floor (which = to easy to pick up) but hight skill ceilling(more in depth and harder combos that can be used if understood fully) also calcharo is not close to being hard , he is literally playing against the game's systems , he is on another level of being countered by the game's mechanics 😂 but he himself isn't that hard

Sorry, but you are wrong. In terms of personal dps she is weakest lim character so far. She requires a second carry as she aint that strong herself. But as subdps she needs too much onfield time and lacks offfield presence, thus she is worse than Yinlin. Currently i cant get 30 stars specifically bcz A5 70/250 tal7 Changli aint strong enuf to 3 star Scar. If i had Encore instead of Changli id be done by now. I will be able to get 30 stars few days later, when i get A6 and higher talents. But at that point all my other characters with A6 would be able to clear Scar too, even without tower Fusion buff. Im not saying Changli is bad. But she is mid indeed.

pulling for her is definitely one of the best decision i've made as i am a sucker for anything that is swap cancel related, as i love playing Doom Eternal and cycling through weapons, never thought an Action RPG game could pull like how Doom Eternal did, so i definitely pull anything that is viable for my swap cancel team

Shes not bad at all, but the comparison with jiyan goes beyond that. Jiyan doesnt only provide damage but he also groups enemies and has insane aoe capabilities, he also has a perfect support for him(mortefi) while changli doesnt. The main problem with changli outside having to complete her combos without dodging or being hit, is that they made her outro a buffing skill but her kit as a main dps, so she suffers from the sane problem as jianxin, being good at many things but not the best. Jack of all trades, master of none type. And this type of character never works well because its better to have dedicated units to each role.

The only problem with her, according to me is after her skill when she dashes into the enemy it’s so easy to dive into an attack straight in because during the whole animation it’s hard to see what is going on. And Jian has somewhat the same issue you don’t get to see what the enemy is doing while he is hitting in his liberation, jian starts getting boring too soon as well.

She boosts your other fusion units(which makes her more future proof and good when we get more fusion main dps units), and combos hit hard and are very easy actually. Definitely skill issues for anyone saying she isnt good or is "mid".

I pulled her because she is hot. In my own experience she feels like a weak DPS but in all honesty I do not have good enough echoes and Changli seems to have way more attacks in her combos, while other characters have less attacks that hits harder, I guess. I am gonna use her regardless cuz I like her anyway.

If it's hard to play, then play the character more! The thing in most skill-based games is that you have to play them more to not only get used to the gameplay, but improve and get faster overtime and especially with this game involving swapping characters DURING A COMBO. The progression of getting better is one of many reasons for what makes skill-based very fun.

I gotta correct you on something about sanhua. She does buff her. Twice in fact. 4 times if you use moonlit with heron. Her s6 gives 2 buffs

For me, the downside for her is that, you need to combo and stack her as fast as possible and need to be perfect, unlike Jinshi you just need to stack those bars fast as possible and its not hard to do it, and the damage of Changli is just somewhere mid, compare to Jian and Jinshi. However, Changli is good to be a sub DPS sustain and I like it, for some people they think the other 4 stars are better than her. And yes I have both Changli and Jinshi, I use Jinshi if I want to beat the enemy fast and Changli If I want more challenge and beat AIX.
