Changli's Banner 4 stars are Taoqi, Mortefi, and Baizhi IMPORTANT: Hey guys! Changli's weapon has been changed - It is now a Crit DMG scaling broadblade that gives 12/15/18/21/24% ATK based on weapon rank, along with the passive of, "Upon dealing damage, increases [Searing Feather] by 1 stack, gaining 1 stack every 0.5s. When Resonance Skill is released, increases [Searing Feather] by an extra 5 stacks. Each stack of [Searing Feather] increases Resonance Skill DMG Bonus by 4%, stacking up to 14 times. After reaching 14 stacks of [Searing Feather], all stacks will reset within 10s." Sorry for any confusion, and thanks to everyone that brought it to my attention! EDIT 1: I misspoke at 09:01 - The weapon gives 56% skill dmg at R1 - sorry was a long night :) In addition, based on the setting and environment of the game, I think it's more accurate to call her a Vermillion Bird themed character, rather than Phoenix since it's clearly based on the 4 symbols of chinese constellations! Thank you to everyone that brought it to my attention o/ EDIT 2: Also, if you plan to field her longer, pushing her 2nd skill use to later in the rotation to benefit from the increased fusion damage of having 4 Enflamement stacks is likely ideal. @Nezxmi pointed out that you should consider doing: Intro > TS: Charge > Plunge > BA 3 > BA 4 > TS: Conquest > Skill > TS: Charge > Plunge > BA 3 > BA 4 > TS: Conquest and then continue with: Skill > TS: Conquest > Echo(?) > Flaming Sacrifice > Ult > Flaming Sacrifice > Outro (or Echo > Outro if the 25% atk, 40% fusion dmg, and 15% def pen are universal buffs). And I think it makes sense too! This does however use an extra TS:attack, so the combo will take longer. Still, for ease of use, it's absolutely okay to use the rotation in the video with the two skill>ts:attacks in a row if you'd like, the difference should be pretty minor. o/

for you to u jump on to BA3 you need to use HA which puts you airborne.. How are you doiny Ba3 > ba4 > ts conquest? And no the ignore def is for Changli alone as she's the one ignorning def which might make her not sc compatible

Off field DPS used to mean off field DPS. Sub DPS has always been a character that supplements the Main's damage output, either by filling in during their down time, or by doing off field dps.

Great video, best coverage of Changli I've seen so far, only complaint I would make is a small adjustment to the recommended rotation. You really want to hold your second skill for when you've got 4 enflamement stacks for the maximum 20% fusion dmg bonus from her Phase 3 passive rather than 15% with 3 stacks. So to build 4 stacks from 0 with one skill use you do: Intro > TS: Charge > Plunge > BA 3 > BA 4 > TS: Conquest > Skill > TS: Charge > Plunge > BA 3 > BA 4 > TS: Conquest For the damage rotation you continue with: Skill > TS: Conquest > Echo(?) > Flaming Sacrifice > Ult > Flaming Sacrifice > Outro (or Echo > Outro if the 25% atk, 40% fusion dmg, and 15% def pen are universal buffs). If you've got Inferno Rider on that's BIG damage and totally worth sacrificing the 12% fusion dmg bonus on the rest of your dmg rotation(Changli won't really use the 12% basic attack buff); Using lvl 1 multipliers as a placeholder, doing Echo at the start is 979%(inferno rider multiplier) with 20% fusion dmg bonus plus ~1140% with 52% fusion bonus at +25% atk with 15% def pen Meanwhile a rotation with Echo at the end COULD BE 2119% with 40% fusion dmg bonus at +25% atk with 15% def pen

I think you're right, especially if you're planning to field her longer. I was initially trying to think of a way to maximize her rotation and damage output, but keep her time on field lower - but even then it would be correct to move her 2nd skill further down to chain to benefit from the damage buff. Good call!

Great video, but one thing I think will make or break Changli, is how defense down works. I think a 25% dmg increase to your whole team against a lvl 100 enemy is pretty insane, and it could stack. It really depends on the duration can it stack and how long it takes for changli to keep applying it, but from previous games defense down has been pretty good debuff to have but we will just have to see. I could be wrong but I think her nodes are actually quite good both buffering her and her team a good amount. I honestly think she is probably going to be the shining unit out of 1.1 but I could be wrong.

Based on the wording on the kit, I think the defense down ONLY applies to her specific attacks that apply it - if it really is a debuff on the enemy that your entire team benefits from, yeah that's a game-changer

Yeah that's a rough one - other than CoC, I suppose Lumingloss could be used, although not ideal. We do get a free 5* standard weapon selection box at level 45 though. I plan to use that one to get the sword for Changli on my acct :o

Actually,we're all wrong. Remember, there is already one character in game which provides deepen and havoc dmg boost and played as a dps unit. She's also used as a hybrid dps, we use her when there's a down time. Ofc, she's also used as a main dps. Yes, that's danjin, how could I forget her. Even though her kits and rotations aren't similar. Changli and Danjin is more of a main dps and used as a hybrid dps quickswap team. Danjin, rover is a good combo because of her outro. So, Changli can be played in many different ways and having such flexibility in long run is so good. Jinshi is more like a damage dealer IMO like havoc rover. I kinda compare havoc rover with jinhsi and danjin with changli. Their kits are different but I think they fall into the same category. IDK, maybe I'm wrong.

Up to you! I think both are great - Jinhsi feels slightly stronger, but I prefer Changli's animations. Both are solid picks imo, but if you're going purely for strength, I'd recommend Jinhsi

C2 is actually good.. The leaks only mentions [Enflamement] grants 30% cdmg.. We all know enflamement stacks 4x so what if the cdmg stacks 4x?? thats 120% cdmg.. Even if thats not the case, you can go for crit rate main stat and with the 30% cdmg you're almost using a 44111 setup

Even if you had 100% Crit rate, a 30% crit damage increase in a standard end game build where you have 100-120% crit damage would net you around a 10-11% damage increase making it a pretty weak sequence. Even if you take into account that people generally have less crit damage due to RNG, that would be about a 13% sequence in an area where most limited units are gaining 20-25% - and that's assuming 100% crit chance.

I'll be honest say none of the standard 5 stars appeal to me, but seeing this set of 3 designs I find pleasing back to back, I suspect the devs made the initial 5*s more tame to get people to spend on limited banners. It's no accident that Yinlin overloaded the payment servers in the first few hours of her release.

@nooneshouldknowme206 Lamo, one of the few. I succumbed to the temptations of Yinlin. When you are on the honeymoon phase of a new gacha, there can be a huge urge to pull and spend, and she was the first characters with the qualities I liked. I actually prefer Jinhsi more overall, but I do think in terms of raw sex appeal Yinlin is first, followed closely by Chanli. It's hard to say who has the best animations since all 3 have amazing features to their animations. I do particularly like Chinese style Dragons so that's another factor in Jinhsi's favor.

I'd say if you're comparing the r5 variants, her signature is better for sure, but at r1, I have a hard time justifying it for such a small increase.
