The voice acting on Smol Changli was seriously top notch, really nice quest all around. I do wish we actually got more specific answers in regards to Changli tho, like we know she is slowly dying because of her Forte, or at least because of how she used it when she was young, so her life will be shorter, but we dont know how long she has (and I know kinda the point of the story is to not care and just enjoy the time you have left but still) or really what were the answers she was seeking, or hell, what was the question, and the whole making a trap thing seems odd to me, like yea it was good for getting rid of some fracsidus but we couldnt know if anyone, much less anyone important would actually even ever find it or care to, or influence how many people could get injured or hurt during this etc., it just seems really unnecessary, especially considering it was hinging on Changli perfectly controling her powers, so it could have easily ended up being a trap for us as well. Big picture aside, its a nice exploration of Changli and a little bit of info on Fracsidus and how scummy they are is also welcome, definitely better than Yinlin's quest in terms of cohesivness and making sense and given that I think Changli will play a role going forward, I dont mind not getting all answers immidiately. As for the video itself, to be honest I think its less of an analysis or explain than just rewatching the quest. And its really unpleasant listening to the sped up voices, at least for me, either paraphrase it and add your own thoughts or just let the really important bits play in their full. I like your channel and I am glad to see people covering the quest and lore of Wuwa, I just wish you actually made things clearer than the quest you are explaining, especially the things that are actualy "left open to interpretation" and whatnot, this just feels more like recapping then explaining or a deep dive. In any case, to me, the answer she got was obtained even before this quest, the "how to bring a peaceful world" is explained in the last cutscene, through being a torchbearer and teaching Jinshi and others to be good, that will spread and eventually she hopes it will heal the world. There could be another read on this, in regards to mastering her power, but that wasnt really a question she was looking to get answers for. Overall I really enjoyed it, mainly because of Changli and Smol Changli, the story itself felt like a filler and rather pointless with only generic fracsidus really being involved and all that, also since the trap was guarding against danger that wasnt really possible, what with the power of the sentinel just not existing how the Fracsidus thought it did, we just got a few fracsidus prisoners out of it, but thats fine, not everything needs world saving stakes, it just would have been more effective if the danger was actually plausible. I like that we learned more about our past and obviously Changlis, how she got to be the person she is, solitary but always trying to make the world a better place but I am rather dissapointed by how the entire point of the quest was just to have us and Changli meet and realise we were the one who played with her master... it just doesnt feel important to me tbh, tho I do like how we were inserted into her past. Also, its weird watching this with Female Rover, Im just not that into Yuri :D

These videos are meant to be a recap of the story that’s like shorter and condensed for those that skip and don’t have time to do it yet but still are interested. You are right tho. I think I may take out the dialogue and cutscene yap and condense them. The original reason I did that was so people that haven’t actually played the quest can hear some of the voices, but me 1.5 speeding it to try to make the two faster may not be good for everyone. So I think I may just do only my voice with an occasional line here and there. If you can, watch the moon chase recap I’ll do and lmk if it’s a good improvement 😁

If this is just meant to be more of a recap than a deep dive, I would be interested in having a deep dive video as well tbh, not neccessarily theorising the future of the story and such, since thats pretty hard to tell at this point, but clarifying all the less obvious things in what is being told, like I believe you did with the story Scar was telling. And yes, just speeding it up a bit will probably not make the best impression of the quest, its the worst of both worlds :D paraphrasing and having cutscenes or important scenes play out is imo the way to go, but thats just me. In any case, best of luck :) Also, wanted to add to my two cents from before, I think that the quest kinda concentrated on too many things, or concentrated too much on the wrong ones if that makes sense. Putting too much emphasis on the trap which doesnt really work for me, instead for example focusing more on the past Changli and how actually meeting Rover influenced her. I think this is a really underplayed part of the story, we essentially manipulated time somehow and inserted ourselves into Changli's past, and Im reading it in a way where that is eventually what allowed her to master her powers at the end of the quest and burn down the trap. The main point of the story, beyond the meta point of view, was so that Changli and Rover got to meet and build a solid rapport, this will help lead the world into the future Changli has been working towards and now, in a way, meeting Rover in the past made her into the person she is now, I feel that is far more poingnant and it even sort of repeats how Rover and her master interacted and taught each other.

I don't know if I undesrtand it correctly, Changli is probably near immortal too, since Rover met her master which the first rover appeared thousand years ago and it happened on Mt.Firmament.

Rover actually met Changli's master close to a few hundred years ago when he was young and then again when he was close to death. It was thanks Jue time manipulation of Mt Firmerment that he was able to live so long. Changli herself is not immortal she met her master likely a decade ago.

My question is "how old is she, actually ?" It seems her master met the rover around 100 years ago, when he was (seemingly) already old, and then he taught Changli until she was arount 10 I'd say (maybe less). So, unless there's time fluctuation (Mt Firmament etc) she would be at least around 50 !

I think its the Master who was unnaturally older. Changli might be 30+ From her backstory, there is a Bookstore that she worked in when she was homeless, before becoming an apprentice. The owner remembers her from just more than a decade ago, when she was 8 or 9.

Kinda ties into Jinshi aswell. Changli was an orphan and knows how it feels to be alone and wanting a companion/master to learn from. So in present day she quit her old job to help Jinshi (who was also an orphan) and be her master and guide her to make the world a better place. Really good story quest
