Mine bit me the other week, my intake was sucking air so put me hand in to fix it and and the fucker attacked, i shit myself lol. What do you do when you need to put your hands in the tank ? I Probably should have fed him up first. It was the first bite off him so wasn't expecting it.

i put my hand in the tank fast, then they will just watch watch i do, if put my hand in slow then they will nip

Yeah thought it was a bit strange because normally when cleaning the tank I can pretty much stroke it, it was probably due to me fixing the surface skimmer so only really had the tips of my fingers in the tank, bit of a shock though because they strike fast.
