I think the Channel 5 Idents from 2008 are definitely my favourite set of theirs as this was when their Idents were the most creative compared to what we have now, also I do agree that Idents like these: 5:35 10:09 11:52 should have been used for their Pre-School Morning programming block “Milkshake” as it’s more childlike than most of the other Idents in this set, great review and can I please request an Ident Review on the Sky 1, 2 and 3 Idents from 2003 as they were all very similar back then 😊

Milkshake was Channel 5's flagship children's show(and still is to this day) but every time Channel 5 changed their logo Milkshake changed theirs as well the logo history is on KZbin I suggest you watch that

Yes it does retain some of the same look they had before the rebrand on 23rd July 2017(I think) and personally I don't like it I preferred in the past plus the programmes were better for a while only on a Sunday and Monday Mornings Milkshake would start at 5am rather than 6am (the 6am start time was still used at 5am only 2 programme's were shown Hanna's Helpline and Angels of Jarm and they had in vision signing)

The Guitar ident was toned down a little. The version posted on KZbin by its creator features the vehicles bursting into flames towards the end. I don't know if that version ever aired on TV. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3Wtd4uto5eHbrM

I'm surprised the idents are as good as they are for a channel that even after 20 years seems to have no idea what it is. For me it's that channel that's bland and a bit shit that plays hallmark films my mum likes.
