Thanks dude! When making the video I had the blimp sitting in the closet for over a year. I thought it would be cool to blow it up and see how it looked. Love how that came out. I definitely don’t remember it taking so long to blow up as a kid haha

Turned out nice! Armando took inspiration from mine and you from his. I know you had messaged me while I was working on mine saying you wanted to do this next. I wanted to do my news rooms inside, but the one I made is more to scale so it'd have to be at least 12 ft high! :X lol Keep up the good work!

Thanks Nate! Yup I remember asking you before I had motivated myself to get started. I had this vision of the interior/exterior for a while now so I was glad I was able to see it through from conception to reality. When it came to construction I really had not it seen it done like this before so I was kind of on my own haha. It was fun and challenging figuring out the engineering . Of course, had to scale it back for practical reasons. Wasnt about to make this thing 12 ft. 44inch is reasonable :) Armando was a huge help and was gracious enough allowing me to copy the blue window idea. I think those colors reallly pop. I think a version of this would be cool with some kind of orange shading to the windows since the skies seemed to be orange sometimes in the show. Anyways, thanks for watching, this was really fun to make so hopefully people have fun watching. I would love start seeing other people tackle this and give it their own spin. I think that would be awesome seeing everyone’s iterations. The Newsroom for me wasn’t too bad since I had some frame of reference but the first three floors I did I had to get completely original. But man if I had more room do more floors there are really endless options to choose from haha. Anyways I’m rambling. Thanks again man! You keep it up as well! Always love seeing what you got cooking

This is mind blowing. I'd love to see your take on a rooftop only version of this building. Something obviously not as labor intensive as the whole building but captures the spirit of the building with just the rooftop.

Hmmm I think I’d have to make it at least two stories tall to get the channel 6 news logo in there. I believe the letters C-H-A-N are on the fourth floor and N-E-L on the third. Would look weird if I only put Chan haha

This is so cool, man. It’s been great to see this all come together in real time. It’s gotta be hard to decide whether to display the diorama fully assembled or opened up to show all the interiors haha. Everything about the exterior came out great. The lining on the brick work, the blue and gold colors for the windows and lettering, it all just pops so nicely and screams cartoon TMNT. And I see you got the new April to put right front and center haha, very nice! Amazing series of videos, looking forward to seeing what’s next after your well deserved break from diorama building!

Oh gosh man! Hit the ground running when I got back from my trip. Glad I got this one wrapped up and the series is complete. I had a buddy find me an extra one in North Carolina I believe and was nice enough to send April along. I still had all my haul-a-thon and summer geek figures still in the box so I finally opened just for this video. Lots of those annoying little plastic things 😂 Thanks for checking this out man! I’m still behind on my KZbin so I need to catch your last one! Can’t wait to see what you got cooking as well!

How MUCH in MATERIALS do you think it cost you kind of curious tbh

So each floor was 1.5 pieces of 24inch x 24inchx1inch foam and those cost about $7 so at least $28…..I used some .5inch foam but I had to buy a big sheet of that which is about $30. Paints- I would estimate $25 they aren’t to expensive I just needed a variety of color. I already had every tool I needed but if you are going to use the hot wire table that is $150 last I checked. I probably spent the most money on magnets and I used close to 200 magnets so I’ll tack on another $30. Silly winks is the material I used for carpet. Those cost a dollar each so let’s say $5. Everything else was made from container or junk or scrap foam so I would say the real cost was time lol. Total cost of material I would estimate about $125-$130

@@applehead1710 USD I can’t imagine what shipping would cost to AUS. Being honest with you, you could probably pull this off a lot cheaper yourself if you are venturing into creating things. I also know someone that just released some 3D printed files that would be more economical
