Small problem is that these are filmed in advance. So in this instance, for example, Urza's Saga, Sol Ring and Survival of the Fittest would all be pointed differently following the most recent update.

The North 100 episode where Serge mentions retiring this list due to never winning with it on Showdown which came out before this was a terrible premonition into the future, I gazed upon the title's words, "Food Combo" and I weeped. Then, haunted by what I already knew was coming, as if the flashback cost was just paid for Lingering Souls, the two 1/1 white spirit creature tokens of this episode's introduction appeared on the battlefield ready to do lethal to my hopes and dreams. I watch through the episode, scrambling for any signs of doubt that perhaps Serge may even win one game from the match, perhaps it was merely an exaggeration, he could go 1/2 and still have claimed only losses... But then the light at the end of the tunnel vanished at that first game, it ending quicker than it would take an average highlander player to decide which surveil lands to put into their deck before realizing the answer was simply all of them. That snuffed out the last glimmers of hope before I was even prepared for the game ahead, like being Stifled on turn one and left with no more than a fetchland in the graveyard and a greedy 7 in the grip to wipe my tears. But I bravely ventured forward, so promising was the second game, but in the back of my mind the timestamp of the video weighed heavy. Each minute passing by without Serge finding the out, without justifying the video being this short if he was to win this game... Then, tragedy. Misreading Ulamog, a dubious attack... And a victory slipping from Serge's grip. Perhaps I was a fool for getting my hopes up, for believing that this time it would be different... Or maybe... READING THE CARD EXPLAINS THE CARD. -------------- Lovely video, lots of appreciation to Serge, Nelly, Ben and everyone who worked on this, was a very fun watch. ♥

Game one was an accurate real life re-enactment of how Zendikar allies valiantly fought against the Eldrazi: They did nothing and got turned to fine dust. 10/10 flavor with Serge's choice of deck too - he was food for Ulamog.

As a fellow Food player, I think Sorin of House Markov is the Atraxa pick. It flips the following turn with the life gain from the Atraxa attack, minuses to take out the prime time and threaten lethal on that turn where you put 15 counters on Treebeard. Serge should have won that game.

Really don't mean to be needlessly negative, but in the spirit of feedback, I don't like stinger intros on videos like this or EDSC b/c I feel like it spoils a bit too much. Just my two cents, thanks for the awesome Magic content!
