Would you say this board surfs easier the orginal "Happy" which was known the be "hard to surf" (so they made the two happy)

I haven’t ridden the happy but I can tell you that this is a model for better/hollower types of surf. It has a lot of rocker which is awesome for when the waves are good but it’s a handful in smaller,choppy,weaker surf. Having all that rocker and it being continuous makes this board want to be on rail, it can feel busy and sticky in sub par types of surf. I’m a pretty good surfer and wouldn’t recommend this model unless you’re an int/adv rider and plan on using it in fun/good surf. Works awesome in clean punchy waves but not so much in weaker/mushier. Some CI models I’ve ridden in the past that are great all rounders are the Black/White , Peregrine, Fever, semi pro, SP12, Fred Rubble is pretty good, Sampler is a really fun grovel type of board that still have HPSB characteristics
