great review. I have a NB and feel the same !! I am not an air guy but it is great to easily release the tail . when it gets bigger and hollower the board does not work well..maye should try some smaller fins

Thanks mate, Ye, the NB2’s not so great in bigger waves, but, it does like steeper sections when it’s small. Smaller fins will help you release the tail and compliment those bigger days 👍

Thanks for the review Jake! Would you recommend this board in EPS or PU?

Hey Aaron, I would personally recommend this board in a PU construction. It’s a more reliable choice especially for those onshore days.

compared to Rocket wide ?

Compared to The Rocket Wide, it’s got a much thicker tail block, and it’s way less conventional. Both extremely fun small wave boards, but, I found the Rocket Wide to be more predictable as an all round board. The Neckbeard 2 is a super high performance, but fun and quirky, 1-3ft board.
