Was there! Was honestly one of the best nights of my life. If you ever get the opportunity to see Channel One, do it! Haven’t experienced anything else with that vibe

" WHA " APPEN " to sound system crowds ??? Them act like fools , Dem nah care about the music jus about jumping around and getting sweat up , Channel One play music to the Max but black people go for another class of music now , Just have to give thanks that people still turn out fe Reggae music

If its reggae music intention to be spred around the world to all ears, then it should not matter as to who the beat effects and how they want to dance to it, or which race of people make own sound systems to help promote reggae music, and be grateful they not gone the ragga direction with its bad minded lyrics in some songs, and without the words of JAH being herd.

Yes Charles Me does agree with Reggae music ah spread round the world . But tek ah look pon that crowd ah people . Man deh with im top off ......... Ah Weh Im Dignity ??? Im nah care about Jah . That class ah man would dance to Ragga , Hip Hop Jungle , Grime , etc The only one who truley ah tek in the word an vibe of jah in the vid is " TERRY GAD . Him is ah Hardcore supporter of sound system an reggae music , People once would go to a Roots sound and listen with antisipation fe the next tune .........Dance now all you here is the sound ah people chat above the sound ......No respect fe the sound or the operator . Ah true i am an elder an see the world thru another view ............. But as you say must give thanks that people turn out still

@@mickydub3 Raspect due. Mans can see how its going, but in this yah time, ones and ones have to hold it down when writing on bobywrong peace of white paper here. You know dem have dem people who ah watch and read and twisting ones words to how they percive it to be, and not the intent of the writer, but still. Back in the days we used to have small clubs till they shut dem down, and now look, white men opening up great big clubs to our music but who making the money off of the sounds we love to hear from way back still flying the flag? sponsers, promoters and such. As long as they keep the foundation sounds pleased with the money they make for playing, which i have no idea of or any figure i could start off with, but as long as its enough and they happy, and its now come like a job to some rather than the love and joy off getting a booking, and buying new dubs for the people to hear, then i'm all for it going the way it is. You said your from the older generation, well i am 60, and know most sound mans from way back when. The days when you went to an amp builder like Metro who built Shaka's amps, and mine too, and the days when if i was playing, which i did, at startford town hall, we borrowed some of shaka amps coz dem times, a townhall was a big venue to us, so needed more box's and amps, and we from same amp builder, so was not a problem, and the favour was return may a times. Not going to brag as to who and who i know, its not my style. I just remain here on the downlow till i can afford to let all ears hear what i got ready to buss out one day. We talking 100's, as i said, am also oldschool, and still have floppy disks full of un mixed down dubs, and my old Atari Ste1040 set up. Bless.

YES Charles Me ah trump you bredren by 2 yr lol . My sound was really Sir Coxsone . Liked the feel an sway of lyodie"s soun . But like me ah sey times ah change an it"s ah different set ah people who check fe the dances now . But i man haf to give thanks fe that ............ Kindred Bless up an itection .... Till time Bredda

@@mickydub3 I wrote so much and then looked at something and it all went, so here go again. All Nations, let me drop a name, Bob, and the dear old lady used to take the money at the door. I used to moonlight as a cab driver and was the one who took her home in the wee hours. Fave place to be was underground dance room there, and if a woman hold you for a dance, more times she wasnt going to let you get away, only to go buy her a drink, and that way you still had your wall space, lol. Pheebee's is where i used to go hear shaka, where dem days you could buy a £10 draw, comes wrapped in news paper, and you still had some left when you got home. Chicken was a very well known sound down north london sides, hackney and stokenewington, clapton, dem sides. He was the sound you found by word of mouth early hours of the mornings when other sounds done pack up from clubs. Not know if you do the facebook ting, but i'm there. Bless
