Good eye! I feel the same way! The black bar will be gone soon. Waiting for this ceiling fixture to arrive so I can mout the light there - It's a hairlight pole. A photographer would see that, lol. Thx again for the input.

I LOVE my Go 10.3. I have the Kindle Scribe as well as the Note Air 3C, but right now, I'm loving my Go 10.3. I love the sleekness, the screen, and the new interface. I don't use mine as a tablet, sticking only to reading and notes on this device. No social media, no email, no notifications and do not disturb mode for me. This gives me the feel of the Remarkable or Supernote, but the option of apps. The text looks as if I took a sharpie to the screen. The contrast in excellent. I'm loving the 300dpi and it not having a front light is not an issue because I don't take notes in the dark. If I want to read in the dark, I usually use my smaller Kindle Signature. I only use the front light on my NA3C because color screens need it most of the time. I started with the Scribe as my gateway device. I like it, but it's too restricted when it comes to the note-taking abilities. Great build, great pen, great screen though. I was going to get a Remarkable but after watching Kit, Voija, and Brandon, I chose the Boox Note Air 3C and love that device. Although the colors are more muted than the Tab mini (probably due to the density of the pixels on a smaller screen), I love it for what it can do and the colors are good for the most part, though some a tough to distinguish. But now that I got the Go 10.3, the NA3C feels like a brick! LOL. Still use it and it's great that they both sync up easily. I would like a 7in companion device, but the Tab Mini is too thick and the A6x2 won't sync with my Boox devices, so holding out that Boox will come up with a 7in Note or Go series!!

Thank you for your opinions on the GO 10.3. your approach of just having the note-taking app and the reader, seems like the way to go, and is how Onyx should have shipped it. I do think that Onyx will release a 7" Go, and I can't wait! Thanks for stopping by.

@@rantsabouttechnology though I like having the option to download Kindle and Pocket. I wouldn't want this device locked. If rather have options if I want to use them.

As always, a great video. I appreciate your perspective and throwing out these types of questions. As for the Go 10.3, I would really be interested in the whole Boox versus more minimalistic device issue from your point of view. I saw your other video on the Tab Mini C and know you like options, but can there be too many options? Can't wait for the Supernote Review. As for memberships and livestreams, I struggled with that myself. I started livestreams by working with Kit and then my own even before I monetized. It would be cool for some of us smaller channels to do something like what Kit, Voya and Brandon do (anyway just a thought on my end). Memberships are hard, I took the advice of my community and haven't done it yet. I have been more focused on affiliate links and ad revenue in the short-term. Sorry for the length, just wanted to share my experience based on your questions.

Thanks Ed and your opinion is always welcomed and valued. I have a couple videos planned (one coming Monday) where I site your channel and the ideas you come of with for the supernote platform - essential content if you're in the Supernote ecosystem, IMO. I'm in with the group live stream. Maybe a few of us smaller channels could get together and do some. I'm sure the community would enjoy that. Still thinking about how to add some value before I start a membership, just want it to be worth it, ya know. Okay man, thanks again for stopping by and sharing your input. Ttys✌🏾

Sounds good, and thanks for the upcoming shout out. I would be happy to try to figure out the logistics for a livestream. I use OBS and OBS Ninja for multiple people has been something I have been thinking of experimenting with.

I was tempted by the Go 10.3, but after watching several reviews, decided I'll stick with my original decision to wait for the A5X2. The 10.3 is too busy for me.

Seems to be a common theme with the Go 10.3. There are those that think they should have just done a Note-Taking App and a Reader App on that device, and thats it. Honestly, I would have been happy with that. Thanks for the comment.

It's an AMD/ATI setup. AMD RYZEN 7 5800X with an ATI RX 7800 XT GFX, 32GB RAM, 2x 1TB NVMe M.2 Drives. I don't game like I should though, lol.

Hi. New subscriber here but just wanna say I came to the cahnnel to watch You and want to focus on Whatever Tech you are discussing. Right now the layout has too much 'visual noise' compared to the old setup. Especially the shelves of equipt and LED fan / light. It distracts my (admittedly unfocused brain) on anything other than you. Enjoying your work so far and looking forward to the upcoming Boox Go 10.3 review

Visuals are always nice, however the main thing that kills videos for me is bad sound. The sound in your videos is fantastic in my opinion. It makes your videos very easy to watch.
