Channel Update (2/4/2015)

I think it's time you guys get an update on shit that's been going on and my plans for the future.
This video will explain quite a lot about why I haven't been around.

+Ethan Epperson A Mary Sue is a type of character in fiction that you would basically expect from and/or find very commonly in Really Bad Fan-Fictions. Mary Sues are the types of characters that are: - Virtually Perfect in every single possible way. - Have absolutely Zero Flaws to their character. - All of their actions, whether they be Good or Bad, are ALWAYS justified in their own universe. - The whole world revolves around them and their actions. - Everyone relevant in the plot always either Falls In Love with them, Envies Them, and/or Fears them. - Are RIDDLED with overused cliches such as Angsty Pasts that they continue to angst about in the present, being the last surviving member of a clan, having a dangerous Nickname, being unbelievably attractive for no reason, being abducted, dying a romantic death in the arms of their loved ones (and some cases even being resurrected afterwards), and I can keep going on and on. - Gain the best and most powerful abilities right from the start without any reason as to why, when a normal person in their universe would take ages to get to that level. - Is over-idealized by everyone. - Are always meant to be sympathized with every single time. And yeah, I can keep going, but you get the point. These types of characters in fiction are THE WORST. They absolutely REEK of Bad Fan-Fiction. They're boring and uninteresting. They don't create drama or tension whatsoever. Watching a character virtually curb-stomp everything in his path right from the beginning with very little effort is just Not Exciting at all. If it was the villain, then that would fine because it gives the character the incentive to grow stronger and makes the villain that much more intimidating. Mary Sues are basically just The Writers jerking off to themselves by making characters based off of what they WISH they were like IRL and putting it into a story they came up with.

Also I think I should mention. It's been a while (a long while) since my Wing reviews. And while I think it's still overrated, my stance has softened. Wing is still flawed (as with any series really), and I still stand by some of what I said, but I find myself liking it again (mainly because of Glory of the Losers, which is a great retelling).

Oh Hell Yeah! Glory of Losers fixed A LOT of things wrong with Wing originally. I totally agree. =) But unfortunately, Glory of Losers didn't fix *everything*. In fact, there's one thing in particular relating to Wing Zero that it actually made *worse* in both a Good AND Bad Way. But all will be revealed in due time.

I love the fact that people don't realize that problems in a gundam's design can easily be fixed and made into a custom gunpla/artwork. It's completely ridiculous that people will complain and then not do a single thing about their problems....

557deadpool and you know what happens? They fuck up, we find problems, find solutions, and then you wonder why the 2nd series of games "usually" don't repeat the said issue. We can even use Gundams for this: -Sword Strike - they messed upc the sword. -Strike Noir - problem solved -Sword Impulse - problem solved until.... -Destiny Gundam - brought back the same problem. Yeah it's not our job, but it is our responsibility to show the producers problems should they miss them. The best way we can fix an issue is to at least try and fix ourselves and reveal the said solution.

Except the problem with that is that the U.C. doesn't really have mobile suits to pick on. Granted, I DO know of a few of them. After all, the Zakrello is by far the 2nd Dumbest Mobile Armor I've ever seen in my life. XD

WackyModder84 Alright that's fair enough a lot of UC Suits are good. It's just that I want to see a couple of UC Fan boys taken down a peg. In my experience UC Fanboys (with the subsection of Zeon Faboys especially) tend to be just as bad as some wing fan boys and SEED Fan boys as well. If you can't go to another section of the internet without ranting then you shouldn't go there. I'm sure I may be hypocritical in some regards due to some of your fans being rabid seed haters but what I really mean in general is that I like to see ALL fandoms taken down a peg from their glorious little pedestal they take on. For example your taking down Wing soon enough. I'm obviously a huge wing fan but I'm not going to judge you for disliking the zero series. I already know the problems you have with the power system on the suit's weapons for example. I'm curious to see what else they have wrong with them.

Treize Khushrenada Oh yeah, Treize. Totally! U.C. Elitists are a problem in the same matter as the Church of Jesus Yamato and the Gundam Wing G.O.P. But other examples of Dumb Mobile Suits from the U.C.; a lot of them are present in Crossbone Gundam, I've noticed. Victory and ZZ do have a couple of them too. But Crossbone in particular is where mobile suit designs got REEAAALLY Weird. O_o

Do you know how to change the sounds in the localized weather mod?

Tanner69046 The way I did it with mine is that I went into the JAR File of the Localized Weather Mod itself. The sound files you're looking for are in this filepath from inside the JAR file: "assets\weather2\sounds\streaming" In there, you can find all the sound files for everything. But just be advised that any sound files you replace MUST be in OGG format. I actually changed the sounds of the Tornado Siren AND the Tornadoes themselves. I made the Sirens sound more realistically and I replaced the strong wind sounds from the tornadoes with the sounds from Twister. These sounds are easily obtainable from the GMOD Tornadoes Maps, if you want the truth. The tornadoes from there use those Exact Same Sounds from Twister. XD

Gundam wing may be in need for a spanking, but we have to admit, gundam wing has complete original gundams. Deathscythe, first gundam to use scythe. Heavyarms, walking death machine. Sandrock, bruh it's a desert gundam. Altron, FREAKING DRAGON ARMS, and wing zero, WINGS!!!!

ALEXTSRO well not quite, as Gundam Altron or even the shenlong version is more similar to the dragon Gundam from mobile fighter g Gundam, especially with the dragon like arm, Gundam heavyarms is more like the leopard Gundam because of its heavy artillery and the heavyarms ew having a bit of a similar color scheme to it as well. However, wing, deathscythe, and sandrock I believe are more original, I can't think of other mobile suits similar to them before Gundam wing came out.

Yeah, me too. Yui has no reason to exist except to blatantly help the story along through cheating the system and I hate tsundere characters so there's no possible way that I would be liking Asuna.

Wacky, just want to have some update while you’re working on the strike freedom rants: 1.SAO, Retousei and NGNL all have a movie now, which imo is way better than the TV anime show. If you have watch those, I want to know your brief thought about those movie. 2. Since the Gundam Verses has been aired for a while, I wonder if you play that as well, maybe is just because u haven’t update your channel for so long that I have to ask about but anyway, if you do, plz tell me your opinion about that before I buy that game? 3. last but not at least, Which rant will you start after the strike freedom rant? Wing Gundam, SAO, or the low spec update #4? I think most of us want to know what’s coming up next so that if you can tell us about that, we can expect what will come out in the future.

HELL YES! The Wacky is still with us! its good to know the Strike Freedom rant will be coming soon, also while Wing is an anime I really enjoy, and Zero is one of my favorite gundams, I will be interested to see what flaws you see in it and hopefully maybe see a redesign like you did for the Destiny. Also I about died with laughter when you listed off all the mainstream anime, surprised you did not like the Kyoto arc of Kenshin, but still looking forward to all the new stuff your working on dude!

GuyverLycan24 What he actually don't like is not the Kyoto arc as a whole, but only the Shin Kyoto-hen movie (it retells the Kyoto arc but from Misao's perspective). The TV Series itself is one of his favorite anime series.

The only part of Ruroni Kenshin that's garbage is **SHIN KYOTO-HEN**. That is a completely different anime OVA right there, dude. It's a re-telling of the Kyoto Arc through the perspective of Misao Makimichi. And it's God-Awful. The ORIGINAL Kyoto Arc in the perspective of Kenshin is TOTALLY FINE.
