Oh, have you considered/seen a game called Besiege. Again it's more machine but it looks fun and it's certainly medieval.

***** It's a fantastic engine. The game is in the very early stages though. I recommend messing around with it a bit, then coming back to it in a couple months or so (They update every tuesday and the mod community for Keen's games are fantastic, and their mod support is just as good).

I have really considered (and also tried) to mock something up for you. I love the idea for your logo with the medieval helmet but with an expression. Seems you might have something up your sleeve now though with a certain intro established. Hopefully your rebranding will go well, a good part of the entertainment for me comes from the history you provide. Are we going to see you blacksmithing too now? ;O

OMG YES!! I was just going to ask you a few episodes ago of your recent "Let's Build a Quarter" if you've ever done a video or video series about Medieval "urban city planning" but was a little hesitant because idk :P. Basically I'm curious to know what types of buildings would go in certain sections of a medieval city or perhaps a large township (merchants & traders, nobility and upper classman, parish or church section, poor area, etc). Seems like your teaser is leaning towards that. I'm currently building a medieval kingdom (of sorts) in my personal minecraft world and I'm just haphazardly building anything I can think of so it most likely doesn't make sense irl medieval standards. I can't wait!!

Hey Madnes! When I was years and years younger than I am today, I used to play a lot of minecraft (Alpha and Beta). I don't really play minecraft anymore, but I like your videos! Isn't it an idea to play Medieval Engineers on this channel too? I play the game a lot at the moment and it's like an advanced minecraft (still in Alpha though). Check it out!

Moin Moin, also ich mag deine Minecraft Videos, spiele selbst nur mit default Texture und lerne bei dir immer was neues dazu, insofern würde ich mich auch freuen wenn deine Stadtviertel-Video Reihe weiter gehen würde.(Habe selbst ein long-time Stadtprojekt) Hatte dich bis jetzt nicht mal Abonniert gehabt(direkt nachgeholt) oder gar eingelockt zugesehen, aber dennoch regelmässig deinen Channel besucht. Ich mag deinen Channel(ob englisch oder deutsch ist mir übrigens auch egal), würde mich freuen wenn es weiter geht und auch wenn mich andere Games im Mittelalter Bereich nicht wirklich interessieren, mach das ruhig. Auch wenn ich eher der Ruhige Zuschauer bin, werde ich solange vorbei schauen wie es hier Minecraft gibt. :) btw: eventuell könntest du dir überlegen hin und wieder Sonntags auf Twitch zu Streamen wenn es deine Hardware hergibt, würde mich freuen. Was deinen Channel vlt. "pushen" könnte wäre ein fester Upload Tag in der Woche für deine Videos, zu mind. hört man das immer auf KZbin. Mit Photoshop kann ich leider nicht weiterhelfen, dafür bin ich zu schlecht. just my two cents und in diesem Sinne frohes Schaffen.

Yeah, it's quite hard to find many games that have building in them with as much freedom as Minecraft or Medieval engineers. Most of them try to emulate Minecraft and fall short because they copy some of the shortcomings of minecraft that builders deal with. Medieval Engineers is nice, but for now it's much more about mechanics without many different types of building materials. Its worlds are also much smaller and less varied. Everquest:Next and EQ:Landmark seem quiet promising, although they are MMOs. It's going in a direction I think is very much refreshing for the "creative voxel game" genre

All I heard was "not Minecraft" and now I'm sad. My favorite builder of them all isn't going to be doing Let's Builds anymore. I guess it's a good thing I downloaded Kargeth and created a world where I have every Madnes build constructed for easy copying with mcedit.

I don't mean to be annoying, but I would simply like to help correct a mistake I keep hearing, when you use the phrase "what-so-ever", which means "at all" normally used in a sentence like "I have no money what-so-ever".
