Fun fact: the majority of medieval homes were just one room. Everything happened in that one room---the cooking, eating, sleeping, copulating. Everybody lived in that one room with you: wife, kids, grandparents... and livestock. If you were a little above average, you might have two rooms. The house described in this video could only belong to a wealthy merchant or professional.

I used to love Madness. Man, when this was uploaded I was still in high school, final year. We still went to the movies, people still talked to one another, and I still knew what it meant to love a girl. Covid messed up a lot man, I’m telling you. It’s like these past few years I have been wandering through the dark; moving forward, but moving blind. Ever distant from the person I was yet astranged from the person I am becoming. Living a dream I can’t wake up from void of everything I ever liked. Watching old videos is the only remedy, honestly.

Unfortunately, it seems your builds have since been neglected to be properly credited over the years, just space mentions of your name here and there. But I just wanted to say that your old smaller town building, with the church and the dome-like centre, it has been used as a spawn for many many servers, including the first Minecraft server I ever joined, about 10-ish years ago. I have incredibly fond memories of exploring your map, pretty much as much as I actually played the game itself. I love your maps, and since finding your channel, all of your builds! your style feels like old Minecraft to me, which is a good thing. I hope you return to map building some day :)

watching this in 2023 and it is painful. The absolute skill is fantastic! All of this is so much easier now and your video is still relevant. I've been playing for the last 8 years and I have watched a lot of changes over that time. New content, new wood types, etc. I will be attempting this build in my small Taiga village with spruce and cobblestone. (also I will be adding a ship in the water next to town)

I always imagined being a plowman with a bullock because oxen are strong but they don't work all day so when the bullock gave up for the day I would (reluctantly) be forced to take him home and we would chill together in the byre.
