Apologies for the duplicate upload. Our first post got flagged due to some of the surgery footage!
Action and Extreme sports take a life long toll on your body. Travis Pastrana reached out to legends like, Ricky Johnson, Mike "Rooftop" Escamilla, Donald "Cowboy" Cerone, Phil "Smagical" Smage, Nate Wessel, and Andy Bell who are all dealing with the struggles of multiple heavy injuries throughout their career to see how they are coping with the every day pain.
#stemcellresearch #extremesports #travispastrana
For those of you who are going to physical therapy, eating heathy and putting in the work, but still find yourself in too much pain to sleep or do what you love, this might be for you. We've provided the links below to the Doctor we visted for Stem Cells in Baltimore and for Cowboy Cerone's energy boosting Peptides. This is not a paid Endorsement. We will keep you posted on our results, but please do your own homework and make the right choices for your personal needs.

Travis, this is the body shop guy that fixed all your rally cars from04 to 2013. Have not seen you in a few years now. But when I saw you at 100AW’s in 2013 . When I went to work at RA for Bill Fogg. ( who I grew up with , across the street 3 house down) I had just fought cancer and had a bone marrow transplant. Which I was lucky to survive they said. I remember talking with you on the practice stage. We talked about a lot of things that day . But I remember telling you that day I was 50 years old and had beaten my body like you had , but not as hard as you had . But I was paying the price then, for it. I got out of my rally car and stop doing things that could get me hurt again. I now enjoy my SxS. I’ve had many a joint fixed and so be it. You need to be there for your wife and the girls. I’ve done stem cell and Marrow transplant. I just move right and my body pops , snaps and cracks. Best of luck with the treatment and stay safe for the family. I have my sons Taylor and Michael. Micheal you always recognize and said hello to him as a kid and teenager. Now I have my grandson who does all the stuff my boys did . Plus he’s a hockey goalie. You really need to be there for your grandchildren. Cause in 20 years it will be the time. You will be 60 like I am now. It still hurts but it’s manageable now for me. Best of luck Bud . I live the things you have talked about in this video. Lance and Conner want you around for a while. Take care Chris Putzier .

He won't. His attitude towards life in general and cheering others onto to injure/maim/paralyze or kill themselves.....is what makes him,,,him. His daughter begged him,,,,and he left.. Hi Travis. I’m hoping KZbin will be my way of accessing your knowledge and help me answer a question I have. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend any local rally events this year to speak to you in person. I’d love to hear your preferred DCCD settings in your old STI for sliding and play driving. That video of you sliding down the driveway into a donut, or drifting circles around the Limo were both pretty sweet. I would be ecstatic to hear what you use. Thank you so much.

I’ll be back rallying this weekend and feel like I’m on the right track. 40 hit me hard. Looking forward to a new chapter in life with less pain and more time with family and friends. G’day Travis, as a fellow broken rider I hope you have some results with the therapy. I grew up with Rhiannon and saw her journey which is great and pleased she is having a fantastic career with you. I broke my back, femur, ankle, wrist, chest, pelvis in a bike crash in 97. Over 45 surgeries and constant pain, but never gave up. Wish I could get stem cell therapy here. Just do what you can and keep your chin up, legends are forever. Say hi to Rhi for me, cheers bud. Billy.

Stem cell therapy cost thousands. Most of us don't have that kind of money. Same injuries from BMX, mountain biking 33 years to 4 decades in law enforcement and not on pain management like many out there. Broken bones, plates and screws, arthritis, torn this and that, gunshot wounds, shrapnel, damaged nerves, multiple repair surgeries, and compression fractures in the L1-2 and 3, broken hands, wrist, both legs, ribband knocked silly a few times. Now cancer but I beat it. Saving up for a used enduro mountain bike just to kick around the neighborhood at 62. Keep rocking but at some point you have to be there for your family. Keep your head clear and switch rolls for a few years. Give the time to your children so they know who you really are. Take them everywhere you go if they aren't in school. And rest. You deserve old age. You earned it the hard way. Nothing wrong with popping wheelies on a bicycle with your kid in front of the house. Thats where we started it all.

oh brother I’ve been watching you since you started and I feel your pain because I’m 52 I have three children and as I’ve been lucky to not have any fusions done, I have had several portions of disc removed. One of them literally had me paralyzed I wonder if you ever had any luck with epidural steroid injections. The hardest thing of all is the living and dealing with the pain without medicating. The only time I take any narcotics is when I have to go to the hospital and they put them in me between skateboards, BMX bikes, dirt bikes, and racing mud trucks my spine is trash, but yet I still build and do stupid stuff, my two-stroke powered golf cart nearly killed me once so like you, I save those toys for the younger kids/adults take it easy you inspire younger to stretch the limits. Let them take the risk enjoy the life you’ve made bro

It’s hard to stop doing what you love. I’m 63 going on 19 and still do shit I shouldn’t be doing, but I’m better at knowing my limitations. Please please stop putting your health a risk and get your body and overall comfort back. YOU HAVE NOTHING LEFT TO PROVE. You are a true legend. ❤💪

When Travis daughter said don't go that got me in the feels 😢 I think he has become an expert at putting on a brave face, always smiling im ok type of guy. But we know he's not. The injuries ontop of losing so many friends the guy has obviously affected his mental health. If you have followed Travis from the beginning you will know he has crazy night terrors where he actually runs around the room screaming but is still sleeping. Must be terrifying to see him like that. If you lock away problems they will come out in some form. Travis is the world's best all round action hero. He doesn't owe the fans anything. Eventually luck runs out i hope he just calls it a day with crazy stuff. Take a year out spend quality time with wife and kids, get his physical and mental health on point then just go to the events for fun. Still ride bikes and rally the cars but no need to compete. Eventually the close calls with trees at 130mph will get him and it would be so sad, the biggest loss to the extreme sports scene that none of us want to see. Good luck Travis hope you heal up and take the daughters advice just don't back 🙏

I cant even imagine what you have gone through but you always keep going, no matter how bad you were messed up, you always had a smile at the end. HANDS DOWN! Travis mf Pastrana, you have been inspiring me since I was able to go outside. I was 8 years old watching you land that XGames double backflip and I swore to my mom I would be a dirt bike rider. I now sell art for a living, so obviously I have drawn inspiration from few people, but you are an absolute legend to me. It makes me so fucking happy seeing you ride off into the sunset, heal up and stay safe, big dawg.

Thanks for the video Travis! In 2011 I broke C1 in 3spots and T-6--T-9 compression fx. 250A VCHSS.... Hit a tree n over bars then hit another like a spear 40mph pinned head first! 2months later I was riding wheelies across the Ravens parking lot without a helmet and became wise! Haven't riden since and have managed pain every day! I'm going to look into stem cells! THANK YOU 🙏

You’ve made it this far, it’s okay to take a break. I totally get the hesitation leads to devastation mindset. The trick for me has been to find a risk level that I can consistently pursue and rarely get minor injuries. The less you get injured, the more you ride. The more you ride, the sharper you are, the less you get injured.

Here it is 3am in the morning and I’m a 46 year old man who is struggling with excepting what I’m feeling and these guys are saying. It hurts the heart more than the body these days. Guess it’s wisdom. Road Bulls, played Rugby, motor cross, Diver in military, Dragbike racing, and skydiving. My body has started to tap out with all my injuries and surgeries. Actually can’t sleep now because I finally got my nose fixed yesterday from it being smashed up so much. I don’t know why I’m even writing this….it may be for myself just admitting that the days of pushing are over with. It’s like the only thing I had in life that I was good at was facing my fears and taking that step but now my reality and fears are different. I just had my first kid at 45 and I know he was a gift from God to change my direction and path in life. I know it but excepting it is a different story. Sorry for rambling

I got paralyzed from motocross at 28 and 1 year later I was the happiest I've ever been. That in the moment flow state we get to with adrenaline can be not only achieved but sustained by being still present and in the moment connected to all that is and living from Love instead of fear. Be grateful and perspective is everything. Happiness is a state of mind. 🤙🏻✌🏻

This means a lot to me. I'm considering doing this after watching this video. I'm a film editor and was brutally assaulted December of 2022. I have had multiple concussions in the past, but this last one I went to the hospital and was told I have "Severe Brain Trauma" as well as 5 broken ribs that still haven't healed properly and I can't sleep most nights and definitely have short-term memory loss which has deeply affected my career of 20+ years. This definitely gives me hope. Thank you to everyone involved.

Thanks so much for this video Travis and all the boys! Stem cell treatment should have been mainstream decades ago but they clearly don’t want healthier people do they… Thank god for the people that stuck to it all these years and it’s finally becoming more and more common! Not only was this video great promotion of an incredible and vital health procedures… It was an insight to what it’s like to be in pain constantly… Pillow’s in bed really hit home for me 😪… I’ve been on work cover here in Australia for nearly 4 years now from when I fell off a brick wall and busted ligaments and cartilage in my wrist at work, come the surgery they also did an ulnar bone reduction and those surgeries made it even worse! Now half my arm is constantly sore with nerve pain from my finger tips to me elbow and sometimes even higher, my ulnar bone they gave a 2mm reduction to now sends shooting pains up the bone and the plate with some of the smallest fine, and mass motor actions let alone trying to pick up something not even heavy, let alone something with a little bit of weight 😪 To top it all off, the insurer that pays my work cover wage constantly tries to discredit me with “apparent independent doctors” that always have a scripted set of question that always seem to favour the insurers true motives, and agendas! The most recent one was so blatant in trying to attack my credibility that he even tried to question my Doctor’s credibility… Mind you this psychiatrist was a complete stranger that made this assessment over a 1 hour zoom call 🤢🤦‍♂️ It’s all just about money with these arseholes!! My chilhood friend recently committed suicide 3 days after Christmas last year, he was on work cover for 2 years, with double carpal tunnel (both hands) 4 surgery’s later with no help (found out later we had the SAME SURGEON 😪🤬) well he couldn’t take the pain, and the constant persecution of workcover anymore and took his life at just 32 years old 😭💔His loved ones left to pick up the pieces while work cover and the insurer get away with another person they don’t have to pay for or compensate… I wonder why they try so hard to discredit, humiliate, and persecute people at their lowest point in their life with constant pain from their injury and some how they get away with such actions 🤢🤬.. It’s disgusting!!! I wouldn’t wish this on my enemy 😪 Just writing this on my phone hurts so much, it’s crazy how much just one vital limb you use every second of the day can effect your life… Let alone how beat up you guys are!! My heart goes out to anyone that’s out their struggling with constant pain!! Let’s hope stem cells become mainstream for all of us… I really hope it does 🙏🙏 Much love to you guys for everything you do, and have done for so long now 🙏🤘❤️‍🔥

I spent about 8 years in chronic pain. Old injuries were haunting me and it seemed like all the new ones didn't wanna heal properly. It's been nearly 4 years without all the issues. I had to get oxalates and most of the carbohydrates out of my diet. A mostly fatty beef carnivore diet has been a game changer for me. Beyond that, spending time in the gym with a bulletproofing physical therapy approach has been the secret sauce to recovery and reducing future injuries and downtime. I love being able to dirt bike and longboard at 42 without pain. 💚

For me the broken bones, surgeries, and pain were the reasons why i never did the anything too extreme. If the chance of breaking a vone is high i wont do it. It always amazed me how people like you guys keep on doing these things. Im in my 30's and myk ees arent greatestand imthinking to myself how i dont want to be that guy who cant kneel down without pain. For me my bodys health is just so important. Just looking at old people or someone whos been chrinically injuring themselves and i get this super uneasy feeling of how difficult their life is.
