Beautiful put ❤ I believe he is talking in general, not just about Wim, but about all humans. We all have the ability to heal, to overcome and when we do conquer what is holding us back and keeping us broken, we are capable of so much and will become so much stronger once we have healed and defeated all external influences and internal battles, when we realise our potential and release it we can overcome. Good luck to all that are healing, you are on the right path!

Wim saved my life and put me on a whole new spiritual path in my life, back in late 2021 I got COVID Pneumonia and spent 33 days in the hospital ten of those days in the ICU, damn near died, I was very very sick, lost nearly 50 lbs and it took me nearly a year to get better, I have severe scarring on my lungs that I will have for the rest of my life. Because of his breathing exercises, cold shower therapy, meditation, and his KZbin channel I have made enormous changes in health and spirituality, Wim has been an angel for me and my new journey in life. I love Wim so much, such a good soul. I healed from Guillain Barre Syndrome with the power of heart and mind, no medicine, very little medical care. No residuals. My family tried to speak fear into me and I rebuked that vehemently as I focused on getting better! With a year, I went from able-bodied to paraplegic and back to walking on my own again. I was ten years old and also suffering various kinds of abuse. The power of heart and mind.

@@TiaKruimel the weekend with Wim was around EUR 1.500,- last year. There's only a few of these activities with Wim himself every year and they tend to sell out well in advance. It's a pretty big amount by my standards (for a relatively limited time) but these days money seems to fly out the window or evaporate anyhow so this was worth the investment for me - these 1500 I will remember what I spent them on until the day I step into my casket. Wim isn't getting any younger so who knows for how long he'll be involved personally in these activities.

Dear Wim. If you see this. Thank you. I am 56 years old. Recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. I physically and mentally feel miserable. I am a tennis professional. I lost my ability to play the way I used to. Parkinson’s kills the brain cells that creates Dopamine. I always had the “Let’s Go” mentality. That is gone. I want to be “myself” again. This gave me hope for the first time in quite awhile. Thank you for inspiring and sharing. ❤️😊💪

Each chapter has a story of healing from a different real person with neuro illness or injury). also cold water ( i go in a Lumi tub) is said to raise dopamine by 2500%. Reality is that we are all dying. How many of us ever truly live? We need to start living for eachother in the process rejecting the exploitative forces that depend on driving us apart. Our societies have lost their way and are sick. They are based on the masses suffering for the benefit of the few. I believe most people have a sense of this, can feel it. Yet struggle to define it or not know what to do about it. All we need to do is take our agency back. Face our fears and recognise that they offer us opportunity to grow or help us recognise there is a need to do so.

Why so many people, in the USA at least, are so opposed to change in general is hard to comprehend. The health care system is frustrating and not helping. I’ve been trying to get a full diagnosis and healing protocols together for chronic illness the last year plus. Took 6 months and 5 practitioners over 12 visits to think of mold toxicity. I had wasted that much time getting out of the moldy duplex I was in and my health getting worse. A functional medicine doctor was most helpful and actually says we should do tests, which the standard clinic did not want to do, even when I asked. They probably weren’t educated enough to do so or because I was paying out of pocket, no insurance and were discriminating. They had no problem continually prescribing anti depressants back to back, they thought I was just mentally off. Functional med clinic found I had high levels of mycotoxins, leaky gut, detox gene defect, Lyme disease and babesios, which could be current or an old infection. Getting a straight answer on whether I have active Lyme or just showing anti bodies from past infection is impossible, even with the several test types. Somehow the cdc approves tests that are 50% accurate yet not newer ones that are around 95% accurate. So far I’m at over $7k out for visits, tests and supplements, and still not feeling anywhere normal mentally and physically. Barely able to work. Crazy and sad times in the USA currently, I’m ready to help make a big change in the health care system, tho big money is the driver. Wim talks about suffering, very real.

There is almost no scientific evidence that Wims techniques work or have any positive effect. While I can admire his journey all I see is a new age snake oil salesman that mixes a lot of common sense things like exercising (a lot more people should do it) and spiritual mumbo jumbo.

@cipher893 Жыл бұрын
@@HerandezbrothersWim Hoffmans KZbin channel is called ”Wim Hof”, find it and look it up. There are videos explaining what happens in your body when you do it and why some sensations occur. It’s very good…been doing it myself for a long time, every day on an empty stomach when I wake up to alkalise my body. You can do it as many times per day as you need. It’s truly a technique that has a lot of health benefits if you can push through it. Start with the ”beginners” breathing guide when you are ready. My father was a hockey player, a legend of the game (Marian Stastny). Today his land is getting stolen, by big money gangsters (Slovak and Canadian), he is getting pushed out of life (diagnosed with Parkinson's, but actually he's just exhausted), my sisters and mother are loaded with medication (my older sister especially, who isn't fully independent is just getting killed by them). Articles I get out get tons of views, then get censored (pulled down). Last year I was beaten by police and imprisoned and ordered not to go online anymore (in Canada) about the subject - I have 4 university degrees, no record, I made my mark in the international scene in big firms then walked away from that in 2010 to write poetry (make art). Now in Canada they're talking about a new six hour series to drown out all that I'm making public (I have no idea how they plan on shutting me up - I'm abroad now in Berlin where I live, and I of course have access to internet). It's all the same people (pharma, land-stealers, straight up gangsters who got very rich off stolen public money, medical insurance, etc.). What a wild world. I can't imagine the kind of pressure Wim gets. And a big thank you for Wim's work. I cold water dip when I can and cold showers are now my only showers.

Wim is one of my favorite people ever. He changed my life 6 years ago and not a day goes by where I don't implement what he's taught me. Also not a day goes by that I'm not totally and completely healthy. I wear a tank top, shorts and flip flops in the winter no matter the weather. I do it cause I genuinely love the cold but mainly because people always question why Im wearing flip flops in the snow and I get to use that as an excuse to talk about Wim and how life changing his methods are. I find 90% of the time if falls on deaf ears, 9% they're very interested but never actually try it but that 1% that actually listens and takes my advice, I've changed them for the better forever. Even though that 99% I have to have a conversation that won't result in anything and it's frustrating as hell, I'll gladly do it to help that 1% that is ready and eager to be helped. Thank you so much Wim, on the top of my bucket list is to meet you one day and give you the most heartfelt hug you've ever felt.
@darlatobin2240 Жыл бұрын
I am that 1% that will listen! I have recently started implementing finishing off my shower with cold water and breathing through it and notice a huge difference in how I feel. I want to take this further and eventually be like you in the winter wearing shorts and flip flops, however cold wind has always hurt me to the bone. I have noticed though that eating certain foods and warming spices helps with this. Is there something you eat to keep your insides warmer? Or is it just breathing and mind over matter? Thanks for any help! And is there a book or video series that points to how to start this journey?
@Sixsoul Жыл бұрын
@darlatobin2240 nice to meet you fellow 1%-er! Best advice I can give is to start cold plunging asap don't worry about the cold hurting it can't actually damage you in these controlled environments. That's just your brain building an excuse not to do it. As far as food, I like to eat a good amount of fat to stay warm. The majority of my diet is beef, salmon, sardines, avocados and mushrooms all providing me with those good fats and easily digestible nutrients and it most certainly makes a difference in how I can tolerate the cold. And yes always breathe into the cold. The slower your breath is the less you'll feel cold and it actually just feels pleasant believe it or not. For videos there are so many on here I couldn't recommend just one. Any video with Wim or one of his students I find inspires me to push my cold limits. The best thing is to just do it and once you see how awesome you feel afterwards, you'll hopefully have the motivation to keep going. I was hooked on day 1! Hope I helped! If you have any other questions just ask!

Thank you, Wim Hof. I like your breathing technique. 50 yrs. old and I have Muscular dystrophy, FSHD1. When I was 17, they told me, and told me, "Don't do this, don't do that, and so on." What am I supposed to do, so I went on with my life, put work in front of everything I did. For 25 yrs. it didn't progress or bother me. I rode my bike ALOT. It was an escape for me. When I hit 43, MD progressed to my ankles. My knowledge of MD at this point was very little, til I hit 46, and I learned that I could sit in a wheelchair. That broke me. I've tried different things to cope with it, but it is harder to deal with now. Not too many medications work with me, AND I DO NOT WANT MEDICATIONS (body and mind). I see a therapist now. I used to love the cold(snowboader), but now it's harder to deal with( body tightens up). I can't stand pharmaceutical companies. Any advice from Win or the readers? Thank you all. Love to all. We are here on earth together and divided. We will fall.
