Cute! A little suspicious that the brand name sounds like the American high end brand AURALiC. I'd say more but I'm running late, according to my Rilex watch!

Interesting. The brand name seems like an attempt to draw an association with Auralic, who are well established in the streamer/DAC space.

I am currently using the Arylic BP 50 in my living room connected to a pair of powered swan speakers and a Dayton,w audio low profile sub. I honestly think it sounds pretty good considering the BP 50 only cost me $100. I like that it has an HDMIARC, sub output and crossover controls. I have also used the B 50 in that same set up, connected to a few different pairs of passive speakers and the same sub. I prefer the BP 50 because I can then select my own powered speakers or external amplifier. The amplifier in the B50 is OK but not fantastic.

I have the B50 as well, and agree with your assessment.

I have an Arylic S10+ streamer. It’s the only budget streamer with native Airplay1 for lossless Apple Music. Wiim uses Airplay2 (lossy. I don’t mind capping to 16/44.1 cd quality as there are very few hi-res files in my playlists anyway.

Great video and love Channel 33, Frank! I was looking forward to your experience with the phono input. Have you ever played music from your turntable in multiple rooms prior to testing the A100? I have a theater / turntable room with a Marantz receiver and a Fluance RT85 Blue Turntable in the theater room and it sounds amazing. The bar area is in a separate room and I use Zone 2 to on the Marantz to play any source in the 2nd room. 4K Blu-rays, DVDs, CDs, AppleTV all sound amazing in Zone 2. The Turntable does not. I added the Fluance PA10 preamp and it helped a little bit, but I still wish vinyl sounded better in Zone 2. Do I need to invest in a much better preamp? Or would I be better off just buying another turntable for Zone 2? I'd love to see a whole video on playing vinyl in multiple zones. I can't seem to find many good KZbin videos on this. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Interesting question.... I haven't dabbled too much in streaming records to multiple zones, but I will consider this for sure. Cheers!

Fosi phono preamps are pretty dope for the price!

Seems like a cool thing to have, especially as a freebie for review.... :-0

Hi Frank, nice review of this A100. I've noticed the Cambridge, is it the AXA35? And which speakers are normally connected to the Cambridge? How does it perform in low and high levels? Thanks in advance 👍
@Channel33RPM13 сағат бұрын
Hi Richard. Yes, it is an AXA35 (a recent addition). I have it connected to a pair a Fluance Reference Series towers, which it powers effortlessly. I haven't totally cranked it, but at low, medium, and medium+ levels it has been great. I should probably do a dedicated review. There are a few things I don't love about the AXA35, but overall I really like it. I talk about the setup briefly in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rnOyfWRthJ18aNk

It serms pretty good for someone young who wants to just play music. For the more serious listener, it's a little disappointing. Not having Hi Res is a bummer. It's a decent price, though.
@Channel33RPM13 сағат бұрын
Yeah, good value... but the lack of hi-res was unfortunate.

Those just aren't for me. However I can see the benefits.

But is it hernia inducing, like a vintage Pioneer amplifier? LOL

So... Wiim > Arylic?

Streaming? Sacrilege!

Ha! Fair enough.... if I'm honest, I probably stream more nowadays than listen to records ... but I prefer vinyl.
