I have always had so much respect for Noel, and it just increased tenfold. No one can imagine how he is feeling. He built that entire practice with state of the art equipment to save animals. I don't know how anyone could handle it if she didn't make it. We tend to think of Noel as almost God-like because of his exceptional hard work and ethics for any animal he cares for. We got to see him as a human during this. Makes the man that much more special in our hearts. They will both in my prayers.

It's so much harder to deal with when it's your own dog, you just become a grieving and emotional wreck , at least Noel has the best staff who did what needed to be done to save his baby.

This broke my heart. Our pets are our family. When they hurt, we hurt. I lost my 18 year old cat to kidney failure last year. I was heartbroken. I am so glad that you and your wonderful team were able to save Keira.

I have seen Dr. Fitzpatrick doing miracles for other peoples dogs, (on television) but if it comes to your own dog, then it get really emotional. I am so glad that she is recovering well and that she will recover fully in time. The team did a wonderful job. Congratulations, because it could have been much worse.

Sadly Keira passed away on September 2021. At least the little one is now free from pain and suffering. !!

I couldn't breathe, when I watched this. I know this love, I have felt those feelings. My boys are my everything to me. When Noel said he had waited 25 years for this, it was so powerful. What an exceptional man you are Noel Fitzpatrick. She will always, be by your side , no matter what. I can't imagine how I will cope when the time comes for me to say goodbye. Oh,how sad it was watching Noal break down. His love for his tiny baby was so high that he was unable to help her. I think he felt a lot of guilt along with his heartache. I know that feeling. My daughter shot and killed herself and I felt that way because I wasn't there for her because I have been in a nursing home for 6 years. So it was a wracking pain. Sobbing uncontrolably. I am so glad his team was there to take care of her at that horrible time.

I feel for people who are going through grief and heartache. Noah is a dedicated veterinarian who goes far beyond what his body and mind can handle at times. His whole life seems to revolve around the animals. So much that he gets little sleep. Whoever gave a like must understand it.

I binge watched the Supervet for months before I had my own knees replaced, gaining courage from seeing how Noel's animal patients get through surgery. I owe him and his patients big time. Who the hell was speeding in the parking lot in the middle of the night? You know how late Noel works. He would have never expected any danger to himself or Kyra because there wouldn’t be many people around. Man, Noel was so pale and haggard the night it happened. My heart bled for him.

Noel is literally an angel, he's so wonderful and he's the only person I've seen that has the same mindset as me when it comes to pets being family. I’m so sorry sir. I’ve watched your shows many many times and I am absolutely astounded at what you have created. And I’m so sorry about your pet we love them and I know when somebody says it’s a part of the family it’s not just a part it’s a member of the family it’s like a mother or brother a father and we love them with all our hearts. There is a good reason why doctors are not allowed to treat ther or family members Noah’s own admission that he was unable to make clear decisions regarding his own dog it’s a credit to his crew that they could still effect the out come they do she was in the best place at that time he had the trained coworkers and the right equipment to understand her injuries very fewvets can use a CAT scanner and the information it gave them all would have helped his desision making

This makes me brust on tears and makes me remember my passed away beloved dog. He had renal, ureteral and bladder stones. He undergo the surgery but unfortunatelly God only gives us one more year before his kidneys became malfunction. He died because of severe metabolic acidosis and respiratoric because of acute renal failure. Nothing i could do because my Country doesn't have haemodialysis machine for dogs. I'm a doctor myself and it's really unbearable to see my dog went through all of this.

This broke my heart. Poor Noel. Thank goodness his beloved dog survived. I think we can suffer more for our pets even than for our children. I am 80 and had many pets. I thought my younger girl may have been a vet. She adored her pets and wasn’t interested in dolls. I too wanted to be a vet 70 years ago. However you had to go to Australia and at 16 and in NZ I was not emotionally mature enough. However we Always had a wonderful family of pets. ❤

This is THE MOST HEARTWRENCHING episode of all time. This proves once and for all what a hero Noel is. Border terriers have a special place in my heart. As a six year old child I spent time in Scotland, and the house dog was Towser, a border terrier. I am 77 and can recall him in detail.

What a sweet and wonderful man. Tears were streaming from my eyes, and I don't even know him or his sweet little dog. Guess it was traumatic for me as I witnessed an asswipe neighbor deliberately run over one of the best dogs I ever had, a Border collie cross. This was at least fifty years ago and I still despise him for what he did. Thankfully, he's dead now. He died of diabetes after both legs were amputated, blindness,, and renal failure. Its really hard for me not to rejoice in the way he suffered before passing.I know the Bible says we are to forgive those who wrong us, but deliberately running over a man's dog is a bit more than I can forgive at present. May God forgive me. Dr Fitzgerald, if you see this, I pray for you and Kieran. Hope you both are healed and well.

I helped a cat that got hit by a quad bike it happened in front off me I work with animals and had my response bag with me I managed to get it stabilised for vet it's now doing OK
