I don't understand how in one sentence she can say, I know it's a chandelier and not a human, and I don't treat it like it's a human. but then in the next sentence, she's saying I can feel when she's happy and saf. like to me with all respect that inconsistency in pure logic sends the alarm bells ringing. she clearly is treating them like they have feelings and that is simply wrong. I know its not hurting anyone but at the same time, there's respecting someones feelings and then there's standing up for the fact that chandeliers don't have human emotions and they literally don't care about this woman or even have to capability to understand that she exists. she's lonely and she needs a friend. when you get to that point when you feel like you need to fit in, it can be scary and it can be sad, and sometimes you just don't in every situation but resorting to having relationships with objects is just bat shit crazy end of

Believing that something has feelings and treating them like a human are not the exact same thing. For example, many people are theists or animists and treat their God or tree spirits or the earth etc as having feelings and a personality yet don't believe those things are human or treat them exactly the same way they treat humans. It seems to ke objectum sexuality is akin to that. Like how kids treat their teddies, or some adults talk to their car or plants etc. As far as I know, she does have friends and has had a boyfriend previously, but only object romance works for her, because she's an objectum sexual (same as a hetero relationship would never really work for a gay person). Quite a few OS have had human relationships, but found they don't work for them. Some OS have both human and object relationships together (see the previous episodes of this series). It's not really about loneliness.

It's not crazy, just because you don't understand her experiences or relate to them doesn't mean they're a problem clinically. Many people with OS are autistic, and autistic people tend to have a stronger anthropomorphisising mechanism than non-autistic people, it's different from the majority but most psychologists do not see it as a problem or unhealthy. Also, most people with OS have friends and have had normal relationships so when you say she "needs a friend" you're making incorrect assumptions.

Your taking the time to write a dissertation on this woman you've never met is sadder than her, in her own home and life, feeling affection for an object. This isn't affecting your life in the slighest, yet you have a lot of assumptive feelings about it. You've never had a stuffed animal as a child and knew it wasn't real, but still assigned it emotional feelings because of your attachments to it? She doesn't seem lonely in the slighest, and is clearly capable of having regular conversations with other people, and living a safe life. You sound lonely.
